Unfortunately, I cannot have other animals in my house, as my senior is the king/queen of the household! But I have a lot of experience going to other people's homes to look after their animals. I am single, clean and respectful of others' property.

I understand that every pet is different, and will meet them where they're at, whether it be shy or upset with other people/animals, highly energetic, not like to be touched, slow paced, etc. Let me know about your pet's personality and any special needs they may have. I am comfortable administering medication (oral eye drops, injection, etc.) and providing a specific feeding regimes.
A typical day
I enjoy long walks with dogs, either around the neighborhood or at a local park. I like to set a brisk pace, but am patient when they want to smell and do their business. My favorite is to go hiking with dogs (like Rockerfeller State Park or the Palisades), but I understand that not all dogs enjoy the car ride, or the different terrain. I enjoy paying ball or chasing games, brushing hair and giving lots of cuddles and love.

I grew-up with dogs and cats, and have housesat for more than 5 years looking after a variety of pets, including snakes! I adopt senior animals, and give them a forever home. I am comfortable with giving medication, including pills and drops, as well as subcutaneous injections.

Ellie is an experienced cat sitter who you could fully trust to with caring for your cats.
We were so lucky to have found Ellie. She made our first vacation after our cat was diagnosed with diabetes so much more peaceful than it could have been otherwise. She was so great with all of our cats, had a really calm and warm energy, and even managed to win over our shy cat in just a couple days (who never warmed up to our prior sitter even after years). Ellie is really a gem. She even troubleshot an unexpected issue with our kitchen sink, and went above and beyond in all respects. I really hope she will be available in the future any time we need to leave town again!
Ellie is so great with our pup and always punctual and communicative. He always gets a great walk with her.
