Hi, I’m Ellie! I have over 10 years of experience with working with cats and dogs. I grew up with them, and have pet sat for quite a few people. I enjoy getting to know your pet and making sure they’re getting the care they need while you’re away. I can check on your pet in the morning and at night, as well as over lunch if close enough. I also can stay over! I do majority of over night stays. I make sure that the pet has their normal routine! I do not offer in home care but can stay at your place with your pet. I make sure that I know their needs and wants to make sure they have a great stay. For dogs and cats this includes when they go potty, get treats, have play time/snuggle time, etc.

I talk with them about their current routine and what your safety policy is with your day. Are they friendly with other dogs or prefer space? Do they enjoy walks? Anything that helps with normalcy.

Ellie was fantastic with our two rowdy hound dogs! I would gladly have her house-sit again for us anytime.
I can’t say enough good things about Ellie! It was our first time using Rover and our first time ever leaving our 3 fur babies with someone other than our family and friends. She came over and met the dogs prior to our departure and stayed at our house with them. She is an animal lover, kind and responsible and we loved getting pics of our babies while we were away. We would definitely book her again next time we head out of town! Thanks for everything Ellie!

Ellie is someone who is caring and gential especially with animals. She was raised around animals her entire life and thus knows how to handle any kind of fog regardless of breed or size. Ellie is a person whom I have trusted to dog sit my own dog whenever I leave town. Highly skilled and recommended person.

Schedule
Currently I work 4 days a week in Ames, and three days off in the DSM area (Friday-Sunday). I mainly take clients in the DSM area but can be flexible with the Ames area!
