I have years of experience working with and owning dogs. I have volunteered at Battersea Dogs and Cats as a Kennel Support Volunteer, and several years ago worked as an assistant to the Veterinary Nurses at Coombefield. I have grown up with dogs my whole life, including a German Shepherd and Springer cross Lab. I now own a working Cocker Spaniel called Goose. I am very confident in my abilities and approach with caring for animals, due to years of training and experience working and existing alongside them. I am happy caring for bigger dogs, elderly dogs with multiple needs, the more energetic breeds, and all in-between! I have recently had a short break from Rover whilst I moved back to Devon after living in London, I am very excited to start Rover back up again. I will love and look after your dog like they are my own so know they are in very safe and capable hands. The reviews on my profile from past bookings are a testament to that.

Ellie did an excellent job of looking after my hosue and animals. She sent me updates and nice photos. The animals seem happy and healthy. I definitely recommend Ellie and will happily use her again.
Ellie looked after my young labradoodle Ruby when I was on holiday. She is so considerate and kind, I got lots of photos and updates. It was clear to me that Ruby was in very very good hands. I’d highly recommend her!
Ellie is fantastic. Our dog is nervous and a bit anxious but Ellie was brilliant with her and our dog clearly loved her. She looked after her for 2 nights in our home and was the perfect house guest. She’s calm, considerate and we’ll definitely call on her again in the future. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her.
Ellie was fantastic with Ruby, she took the time to meet us in advance which was lovely as then Ruby was far more relaxed. Ellie sent lots of updates and photos throughout the day and I saw that Ruby was relaxed and at home.
I was in a bit of a panic when I reached out to Ellie two days before I needed a sitter as I was out of the country on holiday at the time. She was super responsive and agreed to come take care of Sadie when my other sitter had to leave early. Everything from initial communication to updates on the day helped me massively, I highly recommend her! I came home to a nice and tidy house and a very happy dog.

Schedule
I work from home as a full-time domestic abuse advisor, and take multiple breaks outside of the house regularly throughout the day. I would love to have a dog to accompany me on these walks! My weekends are mostly free but I am very active and like to spend them outside as much as possible, so any pet care at the weekend would involve lots of walks and playing, unless instructed otherwise. I am around most if not all holidays so please reach out if you need long term care also.

Safety, trust & environment
In your home I am very respectful, clean and tidy and will follow any instructions as you have advised, for example not allowing pets upstairs or on furniture if this is the way you have trained them. Day-care I bring my own food and will leave your home as clean as I have found it. I request (if possible - but not a deal breaker) at least one meet up prior to accepting bookings to ensure we are all the right match for each other :)

A typical day
Lots of enrichment and walks and cuddles!! If the dogs are supplied with their favourite toys we can spend lots of time playing with them. Older dogs will be cared for suitably, with lots of cuddles and company!

- I don’t accept Brachycephalic breeds as I don’t agree with their breeding - apologies in advance for this. Please let me know if your dog is reactive on the lead around other dogs. I would also like to know their manner on the lead and whether they are able to walk without pulling - I will take them out for lots of walks and want to feel confident in their behaviour before entering the public around other dogs / children etc.
