My name is Ellie, and I'm an experienced, reliable, and compassionate pet caregiver who adores animals! Austin and Kansas City have been my two hometowns throughout my life, so I am so excited to have just moved back to Cedar Park to live near my family! I have 6 years of professional experience working at two large-scale Doggie Daycare & Boarding facilities - one in Austin and one in Kansas City. I have been both a General Manager and a Director of Pet Services at these facilities, and I have ample experience with pet health, dog socialization, and behavior. I have handled dogs with a huge variety of backgrounds and special needs. I pride myself on my patience and willingness to provide personalized care dependent on the personality of each animal. I worked at a nature center in Kansas where I cared for a whole host of reptiles, amphibians, and mammals, and ensured guests of all ages had a fun, educational experience. And I absolutely ADORE cats and have had them as pets for my entire life. 🩷 I have been an independent pet sitter for nearly two decades, and I volunteered for years at Animal Haven (now Great Plains SPCA) and Austin Pets Alive! animal shelters. Animals have always brought me immense joy. As a kid, I held lemonade stands to raise money for the local animal shelter, and I have always had pets in my life. Before any bookings, we will need to schedule a free Meet & Greet where I will get to know both you and your pet(s) to ensure it is a good match for everyone! We will also discuss your pet's health and behavioral needs, answer any questions you may have, and fill out some basic paperwork to ensure I have all the information I need to provide your pets with the best possible care.

This is the second time we’ve used Ellie and she’s done a fantastic job taking care of our crew! As a veterinary technician of 10 years, I tend to be very picky about who watches my animals. Ellie puts me completely at ease, her communication is top notch, and she handles any curve balls my animals throw at her flawlessly. Not only do our dogs look forward to her visits, but our cat does as well! Ellie has made our last two trips out of town so much less stressful knowing our fur kids are being well taken care of at home. Thanks Ellie 🥰
Ellie was very attentive and so kind upon our first cat sitting visits. The kitty’s had a bit of a skin issue that she was happy to keep us updated on while we were gone and gave us all the extra info we needed to know. She treated the kitty’s very well and they all seemed to enjoy her company.
Ellie exceeded our expectations in every way. I was a little nervous about a dogsitter, but after a short meet & greet, my dog (and my anti-social cat) were practically best buds with Ellie. Ellie provided detailed descriptions of every visit with photos. Despite their great first meeting, my dog was still shy at their 1st drop-in. Ellie took the time to make her feel at ease and did everything she could to make her feel safe. Eventually our dog and the aforementioned shy cat, were all-in with Ellie. She was organized and very communicative. From our first interaction, Ellie was sure to ask for more information on our dog so she could best serve our needs. I was confident our pets were safe with her. Would recommend her a million times and would use her exclusively again as our go-to if we need a dogsitter
I was nervous about hiring a stranger to come into my home, and to be responsible for my babies. But from the moment Ellie came over and met all of us, all my fears were gone. She’s SO professional and was very thorough about my dog’s history, medical conditions etc. to make sure she knew exactly what we needed. My dogs ADORED her, and she sent me the greatest updates and photos that I felt much better about having to leave them. I highly recommend Ellie and will be using her for all my travel needs. 5 stars isn’t enough!
Ellie was fantastic with my two doodles. She was dependable, caring, and kept me updated throughout their stay with messages and photos. It was obvious they were well cared for and received plenty of attention. I came home to two happy, relaxed dogs, which says everything. I highly recommend Ellie to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate Rover sitter, and I will definitely book with her again!
We are so grateful for Ellie’s thoughtfulness and care with our cats! She has gotten creative on the best ways to sneakily administer meds to our oldest cat, and we love that she provides warmth, care, and attention based on the unique needs of each cat. Ellie always provides great updates, and we fully trust her to be in our home and care for our kids while we are away.

Schedule
I have a Psychology degree from UT and am planning to start a Master's program in Counseling in Fall of 2027. My long-term career goal is to continue to care for animals while becoming a licensed therapist providing animal-assisted therapy. So in the meantime, this is my full-time job! 😄 I feel so lucky that I get to care for sweet animals while I save up money to pay for school.
