I do have a part-time job so I am available Mondays and Wednesdays after 11:00 am as well as Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays after 4:30 pm and anytime on the weekends.

I have always loved working with and spending time with dogs. Being mindful of their body language, the environment they are in, and many other factors is important in making sure they are well cared for and comfortable. Dogs - just like humans, love their routine and I intend to stick to it. I love taking pictures and providing several updates while taking care of pets. I believe it is important to keep owners informed and up to date on how/what their dog is doing. Especially because I know that when I miss my dog it's always nice to know that they are okay.

Please let me know of situations or experiences where your dog has expressed discomfort so if those situations arise I know how best to handle them. I would also like to know if your dog has any allergies, what their favorite activity(s) are, and if they are friendly with other dogs. If they are not friendly with other dogs or you would like us to not interact with other dogs that is okay! It’s important for me to get a sense of their routine to ensure that I don’t disrupt their life. 🫶
A typical day
We will walk and explore the area. Taking lots of pictures along the way. I think it is important to let dogs sniff to their heart's content! It is mentally stimulating and enriching for them. It would also be nice to include whatever their favorite activity is in our walk - whether that's throwing a ball, Frisbee, etc...If they are a bit older or need some extra rest I am also fine snuggling up on the couch with them. Whatever they want to do we will do!

Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs, and pet/house sitting for friends, family, and other people throughout the last 6.5 years. My family had two dogs while growing up who I adored and loved taking care of. I also worked at a dog daycare for a bit during my freshman and sophomore years of college. I have always enjoyed being around dogs and spending time caring for them. They deserve all the love and attention they can get! I am detail-oriented and pay attention to the little things that matter.

Ellie did a fantastic job watching my two pups while I was on vacation for a week. She sent me tons of thorough updates and photos of the dogs throughout the day. One of my dogs had an ouchie (that she got before her watch) that Ellie did a great job tending to and getting to heal. Ive booked with Ellie twice and will definitely book again!
Ellie was amazing!! She was super communicative and took excellent care of our dog and cat, and our space. She provided regular updates and pictures, and messaged if she had any questions. We would absolutely use Ellie again in the future to watch our animals!
Ellie was great watching Bobbi. She sent pictures thru the weekend and always was quick to respond. Will book with her again!
