I love pets like they’re my own!
I’ve been taking care of pets my whole life! I started dog and cat sitting when I was 12 years old and haven’t stopped since. I currently work at a pet shop. I’ve professionally walked dogs for a company in Chicago, as well as the Wag! app. I’ve walked dogs of every size and ability level from senior wheelchair bound corgis to excitable rat terriers puppies to rough and tumble Pit Bulls and German Shepards. Let me treat your pet like they’re family!

I live centrally in Des Moines. I can easily get to all of the Des Moines metropolitan area to provide services including dog walks, cat visits, and taking pets to parks and runs.

Ellie is so kind and sent lots of pictures. I was able to totally relax and enjoy vacation knowing our senior cat was well taken care of.
Ellie was very communicative about how each visit went and showed pictures of how my cat was doing (which was generally being dramatic about my absence haha). She followed instructions very well and made sure my kitty was well taken care of (even if she would disagree about her presence lol) Overall Ellie is a fantastic sitter and I would book her again if I needed her :)
Ellie was wonderful during our extended vacation away from home and away from our cat Getti. 🐈 Very good with communication and pictures.
Ellie did a great job watching our 4 dogs and 1 cat for 4 days. We are particular and careful about who we have stay with our pets and hiring Ellie was a great decision. She is a major pet lover and was obviously at ease with our fur babies. She had to give pills daily to 2 of the dogs and had no problems. She was good about communicating and sending pics while we were gone and we came home to the house in great shape just as we left it and most importantly, happy and healthy pets. We will definitely use Ellie again and recommend her to anyone.
Ellie, first off, is an animal lover. I have trusted her with my beloved pets many times. Not only does she provide on-time, attentive service, she truly enjoys her time with my dog. Ellie has been a long time volunteer at the Animal Rescue League. I would recommend her to everyone.

Schedule
I typically work at the pet store from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on varying days. I’m available to take care of pets before and after work and overnights on all days.
