Pet care experience
An animal lover all my life.
Growing up we always had pets, I don’t remember a time when we didn’t. My best friends parents even bread Jack Russells so I was always around dogs and puppies, playing, feeding, walking etc (I helped out and had loads of fun with the horses too). For me It started with fish, my brother had a hamster, we had two cats - one who lived to 21 and was the best pet ever. I had my own rabbit… then two more… then some more, one had a special place in my heart, he adored me as much as I him, and lived to be 11. We also had our family dog during that time, a Jack Russel and then on to get my own dog, a proper hound who I only recently lost. He was almost 15 and had been my shadow forever, through ups and downs of life, having my children, losing my mum, he was always there with me. It’s been a huge adjustment for us without his presence but dog sitting and having wonderful dogs come and stay has been a joy.

We have never left our dog (Frankie) with someone she doesn’t know but she settled in with Ellie really well. She boarded with Ellie for four nights and Ellie sent us regular pictures of Frankie enjoying lots of walks and the company of other dogs. We’d definitely use Ellie again, Frankie seemed to have a lovely time.
Ellie was such a great help at short notice - very grateful, and Teddy was so well looked after
Ellie was really welcoming amd kept me updated with what sully was up to. He was a bit under the weather on the day with Ellie and she was happy to accommodate a small walk with him as he had hurt his leg. Would recommend Ellie. Thanks 🐶
Ellie was amazing at sending photos and keeping in touch. Yoshi came back very happy and was clearly well looked after in her home. We would book again
Our dachshund Harry had a great time with Ellie and family. Got lots of cuddles and walks. Ellie was really friendly, knowledgeable about dogs, considerate and accommodating. Would not hesitate to recommend her.
Asha had a great time with Ellie and her family. Had plenty of walks and Ellie was very good sending updates and photos throughout the days. We will definitely book again!

Schedule
I am home everyday so I can easily fit in walks or varied lengths, toilet breaks, playtime, cuddles and anything needed. I have children (8 and 12) so I am home in the evenings, and with my girls we can provide all the company your pets need.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a nice fenced in garden, so there’s always access to a safe outdoor space. And behind my house are lovely fields to walk through, my dog used to love walking out there. I have plenty of toys to entertain, and I try to keep routines similar to at home if I can so the dogs have similar structure and less disruption. My children are with me most of the time, apart from when at school, but growing up along side a dog they know how to behave around animals and treat them with love and respect.
A typical day
Each morning I can walk your dogs with us on the school run, then home for a cuddle and a play in the garden. I can go on as many walks as needed, the fields by my house are lovely for dogs to explore or my other favourite (if dogs are ok with the car) is the quick 10 minute drive to the beach. There’s also a playing field near by if a shorter more chilled walk is needed.

- My boy recently passed away, at almost 15 so is no longer here, but dogs visiting will still smell his presence in the house I’m sure.
