Safety, trust & environment

I am able to follow owner instructions carefully, always working to keep your pet’s routine as familiar as possible, and prioritising their safety and comfort over everything else. With your guidance and permission, I can provide them with the same training, exercise routine, or medications needed to keep them at their best. I’m an extremely clean, organised, and respectful individual, so you can rest assured you’ll return to your home exactly as you left it after home stays. While I'm with your dog, I will also send you regular updates/pictures so that you can keep up with what we're up to!

Information Ellie C. would like to know about your pet

To allow me to take the best possible care of your pet, it's important for me to know: - What kind of pet will I be looking after? What's their breed, age, and activity level? - What are their likes, dislikes, fears, or naughty habits? Are they nervous around other dogs? Notorious for jumping on the bed despite you not wanting them to? Do they pull on the lead? Are they wary of children? Do they have a habit of eating too quickly and vomiting their food back up? Knowing all of these things in advance ensures I can accommodate your pet fully. Plus it lets me know any bad habits or training opportunities to be wary of! - Their exercise and feeding routine. To minimise any distress or worry while you're away, I'd like to be able to keep your pup's routine as close as possible to what they're used to. - Any relevant medical information.

A typical day

I understand that every dog's routine is different. And therefore a 'typical' day will be shaped by whatever you want/need me to do while looking after your pup. If there's specific training you're in the process of implementing, set amounts of exercise your dog needs, or you've got a nervous/needy dog that benefits from a large amount of comfort and fuss, I'm happy to oblige! - I lead a very active lifestyle so going on walks (long, short, or even runs) with your dog would be my pleasure. This will also allow them to burn through any excess energy and continue having fun/exploring their local area while you're apart. - Playing catch or with their favourite toys. The last thing you want when returning from work or a holiday is a pent-up pup who's lacked stimulation. So whether I'm staying with your dog overnight or simply visiting them at lunchtime, I'll allocate some concentrated time to help them burn off steam and tire themselves out. - I will reward your pet's good behaviours with any treats of your choice. If there's a particular trick or command you're currently working on, I'd be happy to maintain this training while you're away. - All the cuddles, pets, and fuss. I'm a huge animal lover. So you never have to worry about your pet going short on attention, affection, and love!

Experienced pet sitter with flexible schedule

Pet care experience

I’m an experienced cat and dog sitter who has a lot of love to give to your beautiful pets. I was raised with two border collies, so have decades of experience looking after and being around dogs. More recently, I’ve been doing Rover full-time since August 2023, and have completed countless stints of dog/cat sitting for friends’ pets, too. Passionate about keeping your animals happy, safe, and feeling loved, I’m able to adapt my approach to suit the individual needs of your pet or household. Over the years, I’ve looked after dogs who are nervous new rescues, naughty puppies, dogs who suffer from separation anxiety and/or are reactive, as well as large, high-energy, or banned breeds. By maintaining as close to their usual routine as possible, the goal is ultimate peace of mind for your pet - and for yourself while you’re away from them!

Ellie regularly comes and sits with Milo. He loves her and is totally comfortable with her. Walks him during her time here. Always respects our property. Will continue to book anytime we need a sitter.
