Animal loving couple with a home from home 🏡🐶
Myself and my partner Alex are both animal lovers, from both growing up in pet-filled households, we have looked after all animals from dogs, cats, rabbits, fish and even hamsters. We have looked after and had experience with numerous different dog breeds, all shapes and sizes, from Dachshunds to Labradors. We love learning about different breed behaviours and each dogs unique personalities which helps us to care for your pets in the right way. Me and my partner Alex live in a rural area with a large dog field a stones throw away. Our garden is a good size and very secure with grass, perfect for any sized dog. We are currently living without any pets of our own for the first time which is very strange/boring! This is our perfect opportunity to spend time with your furry friends and we can treat them like they are our own. We only take one booking at a time so each dog has our full attention & care like they would in your home. We offer both boarding in our home and house sitting. I have also undergone my level 3 in dog grooming, in hope to offer this as an additional service in the near future.🐕

Friendly and good communication, we did meet Ellie however met briefly with Alex. Dogs both seemed happy enough when we returned from our short trip.
Reggie was so happy at his stay, the updates were great & made our holiday so much better! He’s struggled in the past being away from home but he loved his little holiday! Thank you for looking after him so well
Ellie did an amazing job looking after our home and Rex. We had previously sent him to a home boarder but after a bad experience Ellie came recommended and I can see why. Rex had a great time and I can tell he has been well cared for. Thank you both!

Ellie was great with our dog, Mollie. She kept me updated when I was away with photos and messages. Ellie left our house nice and tidy and asked us when the best time to leave was. Highly recommend Ellie ☺️

Schedule
Both myself and Alex work from home during the week and Alex takes an hour lunch, meaning walkies can be given multiple times a day depending on your dogs needs. We live a stones throw away from a huge doggie field which has multiple trails, perfect for long daily walks. Weekends are usually spent on walks/hikes so can easily include your dog in some fun activities (if wanted) happy to take dogs in the car if comfortable with this for days out. Doggie seat belts/crates can be used if required. Some of our doggie clients have been on trips to Wales and the Peaks with us!

Safety, trust & environment
We can offer a home away from home for your pet and wish to create a comfortable environment where your dog will be settled and you can feel reassured your pets are being cared for throughout. We are happy to allow dogs on the furniture and have lots of snuggles (if wanted). I can use a crate at night time if that is what you are happy with. With a large secure garden, dogs will have access whenever needed. Fresh water and lots of treats will be on hand at all times, I will work with you to make sure food requirements are met.
A typical day
I love to stimulate my dogs with treat training activities, greedy bowls can be used if needed at feeding times. Dogs can be walked up to 3 times per day depending on exercise levels. Dogs can be taken on days out in the car if happy with this (after the dog is familiar)
