I am available for visits on Saturdays and Sundays, and in the mornings or mid/late afternoon during the week! My M-F job hours can be flexible, so I always do my best to accommodate the best time for you!

My current job is in home health, so I have a great appreciation for respecting someone's home and routine. I understand that animals need to feel safe and secure in their home, so my goal is to keep things as normal as possible for them.

It's important to get information on a cat's special diet, need for medication, feelings about strangers being in the home, what makes the cat feel comfortable, and how the cat likes to play! Although some questions refer to dogs only, I have experience providing medications to cat's ears, eyes, mouth, and skin.
A typical day
Well, being a cat sitter, I will likely do whatever the cat wants to do! We all know they're the boss! My cat Dakota loves to play fetch with hair ties, chase each other around the apartment, and take out her energy on a cat nip toy.

I have had at least 1 cat in my home throughout my life. I learned from a young age how to care for cats and the need to allow cats to do things on their terms. I have lots of experience playing with, brushing, feeding, and giving medicine to cats. I'm also prepared for litter box cleaning!

Ellen was so sweet with Persephone and I loved how attentive she was. She also took some great pics for me to see her while I was away!
Ellen did a great job taking care of our cats while we were away on vacation. She topped off their food and water, cleaned their litter box, and even cleaned up an accident one of our cats had. She also sent us cute photos from each visit which we very much appreciated ☺️
Cat approved! It speaks volume when the cat voluntarily walks up to the sitter. I was updated and received photos. Many thanks for taking care of her.
