I've spent most of my life around animals and have cared for both cats and dogs of all ages for friends and family since high school. I have a soft spot for older pets, so I understand that they often need more attention, which I am happy to provide. Whether it's sticking to a routine, administering medication, or keeping company, I'm comfortable handing your pet's unique needs. I currently don't have my own pet, but I'd love to care for yours!

I treat every home visit with diligence and respect. I follow routines closely and make sure your animal(s) and home are secure before, during, and after my visit. I appreciate detailed instructions and will send updates as frequently as you'd like.

Ellen is great with cats. My senior kitty absolutely adored her and she was attentive to his special needs and paid attention to little details during her stay. She gave me daily updates and photos and I was able to fully relax and enjoy vacation because I knew Ellen was taking good care of my cat. I highly recommend her!
Ellen was great! She was good with communication while I was away and I came back to happy, healthy pets!
Ellen was great for dropping in on my two pups for several days in a row. It was so hot and she was careful to not walk too far as one of my pups is older and has health issues. She made sure they had a full water bowl and treats before leaving. I recommend her!
Ellen is fantastic! She took care of our dogs and was super kind, organized, and caring of them. She also grew up with several cats in her family so she's very experienced with pet care in general. Can't recommend enough!

Schedule
I'm currently a graduate student who is working from home for most of the summer, so I am available weekdays and weekends to care for your pet. I love taking screen-time breaks throughout the day, and taking care of animals is a great way to do so.
