Please let me know if your dog has special needs or special medication. I want to know if they need to be crated to sleep, if they have allergies and exactly how often they should be fed. You have a special routine with your beloved animal and I want to match that routine in every way possible. Plus reduce their possible anxiety by being with them all day.
A typical day
I do love playing with dogs and giving them the love and attention they need. I am great with puppies of any age! I can handle their high energy and can play, play, play with them all day! I am especially good with senior dogs and take extra care in their handling. I am very careful and mindful of weather conditions and will not overtax a dog in heat or excessive cold. I will follow your instructions to the letter!

I have had dogs and cared for them lovingly for 25 years. I have my own home and I am pet free so that I can devote complete attention to any dog(s) that I am boarding. If you have more than one, no problem. I will take up to 3 at a time from the same family. I WILL ONLY TAKE FUR BABIES FROM THE SAME FAMILY. You do not have to worry that your pet will be among strange dogs or cats from different families! I have no problem walking, feeding and especially playing with them as I have done it for my own dogs and for family and friends. They call me the "Dog Whisperer" as I seem to have a calming effect on even the most anxious dog,

We cannot give enough accolades to Ellen! Our nervous girl was perfectly at home with Ellen. Her home is set up for your dog’s comfort. From multiple beds, water/food stations to a fenced in yard to play in. Ellen sent pictures and notes every day of our vacation. We could see our girl was on her own vacation! We would highly recommend trusting Ellen with your pet.
I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! She was phenomenal with my dogs from the moment they arrived. She has a thoughtful process to get them comfortable, and her deep knowledge of dog behavior really showed. Her house is like a doggie heaven—every room has beds and water bowls, and it’s completely dog-proofed with non-dog-friendly things securely put away and dog ramps to get on the furniture. My dogs loved her private, fenced backyard and even enjoyed the "dog TV" she set up for them! She never left them alone, and kept me updated with fantastic photos and videos, which made me feel so at ease. I’m beyond grateful for the care and attention she gave to my pups. Highly recommend!
I recently boarded Milo with Ellen, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! This was my first time using Rover, and I was a bit nervous, but Ellen quickly put my mind at ease. It was a last minute booking, but Ellen took him in right away and made the entire process so smooth. Her house was clean and well-equipped, and she took extra care to accommodate Milo's needs as an older dog. Ellen was very communicative, sending updates and photos that showed how happy and comfortable Milo was. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend Ellen!
