I am a semi retired professional equestrian who is wanting more time out of the barn with animals of all kinds. I own 4 Australian Shepherds and have had 14 since 1985. As an animal professional, I understand the value of consistency in training and care. Cats have been a part of my life both as house and barn cats.Each type has value and distinct personality. A clean litter box and correct enrichment programs are a must. Feeding both species correctly is a must. I am open to multiple visits a day and am used to working every day when the animal care dictates.

Ad a professional animal trainer, I understand the need for clear and direct communication as well as generous positive feedback using touch, voice, body language and treats. I want to know all aspects of taking care of you children in a fur suit.
A typical day
I love to play interactive games and go on walks with dogs or cats. My expertise is walking multiple dogs at once. I walk all 4 of mine together. Sometimes we play with a flirt pole which is fun for both dogs and cats. Belly rubs are important as well!

Pet care experience
I am a life long pet owner and professional equestrian. I am slowing down the equine part and ramping up the pet part. I own 4 Aussies currently and understand the need for daily exercise , enrichment and love. I would be honored to spend time with your pet when you are not available. I am experienced in walking from 1-4 dogs at a time. Outings include side walk and on trail walks. Typically a walk is 20 minutes and can be adjusted to need. I enjoy cuddling and grooming dogs. Enrichment time includes tossing toys and puzzles if allowed. I am happy to accommodate directives when possible, tailored to every dog or cat per owner wishes . My experience includes animal husbandry for up to 60 horses and a dozen dogs and cats at one time. I taught college equine sciences classes for 9 years and oversaw the care management at Stephens College in Columbia, Mo. Please let me know how I can serve you and your animal children.
