Pet care experience
Growing up, we always had at least one dog in the house (as well as cats, fish, bunnies and hermit crabs) - so being around animals is second nature to me. I have been dog sitting for my parents for as long as I can remember, and more recently, for friends. I have dealt with problematic dogs in my own home, so I can handle all kinds of dog behaviour. I am a very active and energetic person; I love biking, running and yoga. I am very organized, flexible and responsible. I'm desperate to have my own dog, but can’t make the leap quite yet, so I promise I would love your dog like it's my own.

I take safety very seriously and I will never let your dog off leash unless it’s ok with you. I live with my partner in a small cabin on a lake. Lots of outdoor space for fetch and running around (although the yard isn’t fenced).

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviours, and if they get along with other dogs. It’s also important that we know if the dog can be trusted off leash (or tends to wander off) as we do not have a fenced yard and live in the woods
A typical day
I usually go for 2 3-5 km walks per day so your dog would get lots of physical activity! We live near beaches and hiking trails too! We have a huge yard for playing fetch and a lake that they can swim in.

Availability
At the moment, I’m working remotely which means I’m very flexible! It also means I’ll have lots of time to hang out with your pup! I am currently available anytime Monday - Friday, as well as some weekends! They will get a lot of attention throughout the day and I usually go for 2 long walks per day!
