🐾Canine First Aid Level 2 & Canine Body Language trained🐾 My journey in animal care started when I was 14 with volunteering at a greyhound rescue. I worked there for almost 4 years before I was lucky enough to work with wildlife, and learn about animal husbandry in Newquay Zoo. Along the way, I have learnt other amazing skills like dog grooming, Canine First Aid and Canine Body Language. I also spend my free time doing more courses from home about dogs and cats. My passion for pets started when I got my first book about dogs. Since then it’s grown into a love for animals of all shapes, sizes and species. But going back to my roots, I particularly love working with dogs and learning all about them.

Safety, trust & environment
The most important thing for me is that your pets feel comfortable and safe around me. I want them to have a fun, positive experience, so I will do everything I can to make sure they’re happy. I am patient, calm and will make sure your pet will be safe out on walks and in the home 🐾

Ellen has a lovely calm and quietly confident rapport with our dog, and is reliable and professional.
Our first time with someone coming in to our home to visit our cats, went just as we’d hoped. Ellen had listened to us and absorbed the characters of Bluebell and Saffron well. Their needs were attended to and she gave them lots of love and cuddles. It was so lovely to hear the daily updates and see the photos - makes such a difference knowing they are ok. We are looking forward to our next booking with Ellen and would happily recommend her to anyone wanting someone to care for their pets. Thankyou so much.
Ellen did a great job walking Ernie. He was smiling in all the pictures and we would definitely book Ellen again!

Ellen was a great sitter for us. She gave lots of photos and updates of the dogs and was very communicative and flexible and helpful throughout the week staying at the house. She left it very tidy . I would not hesitate in recommending her .

Schedule
I’m currently focusing on growing my pet care business, so I’m free throughout the day. I’m usually available: Monday - Sunday: 8am-6pm I can adjust my personal schedule to fit you, so please send a message anyway and we can work something out 😊

- Please let me know if your dog has any special requirements ahead of time, if they’re nervous around new people and what their energy level is. It’s important for me to know how they react to other dogs, people, animals etc so I can take necessary precautions.
