Pet care fits really well into my routine, especially during the summer. I teach yoga in the evenings, so I’m available and flexible throughout the day Monday through Friday for walks, drop-ins, or extended care. I enjoy staying active during the day, so dog walking is a great fit for me, and I’m able to give pets consistent attention, exercise, and care before my evening commitments.

I prioritize safety, consistency, and making pets feel comfortable in any environment. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, and any specific instructions. I always make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure and that pets are supervised during walks and playtime. I’m attentive to each pet’s behavior and needs, whether that means giving extra energy for active dogs or creating a calm, low-stress environment for more anxious pets. I also keep spaces clean and safe by removing any hazards and ensuring pets have access to fresh water and a comfortable place to rest. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I provide a clean, safe, and pet-friendly environment where they’ll get plenty of attention, exercise, and supervision. I love keeping pets active, engaged, and happy based on their personality and energy level. For dogs, that can include long walks, playtime, fetch, tug-of-war, outdoor adventures, or just getting plenty of exercise and attention. Since I’m very active myself, I enjoy making walks fun and engaging rather than just quick bathroom breaks. For cats and lower-energy pets, I focus more on interactive play, enrichment, cuddles, and keeping them comfortable and relaxed. I always try to match each pet’s routine and comfort level so they feel safe, entertained, and cared for while their owner is away.
