Thank you so much for taking a look at my profile! My team and I have been working professionally in the animal field for over ten years. We initially offered in home, practical dog training and then transitioned to studying canine behavior and became pet boarders so we could work with as many dogs as possible! We strive to provide a calm and safe environment for all of our guests and are experienced with many breeds of all ages and temperaments. Our business, Auburn Kennels, is registered in New York state and with the town of Sennett so we can provide a legitimate and insured service to our clients and guests.

Our pup had a great weekend! He was very well taken care of and we got daily photo updates.
We boarded our dog for a few days. He seemed like he had a great time when we picked him up. They were super flexible with their time and very responsive through the messaging. They sent us updates on our dog with pictures during his stay. We would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again!
I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog received. They went above and beyond to accommodate my dog’s specific needs, including accommodating my homemade meals and properly handling vitamin distribution. It gave me real peace of mind knowing those details were taken seriously. What really stood out was the consistent daily communication. I received texts and photos every day, which made it so much easier to relax while I was away. It was clear my dog was not only being well cared for, but also genuinely enjoying the experience. When I picked my dog up, they looked happy, healthy, and well-loved—exactly what every pet owner hopes for. I would absolutely recommend their services and will definitely be using them again in the future.

What a find!! Mr. Brown and Fred had a great time during their stay at Auburn Kennels. When I was looking for a place board my two pups, I was looking for a home where they would be treated like family and allowed free rein since that’s what they’re accustomed to. This is one of those places!

Schedule
I provide pet services full time- all of our guests receive around the clock supervision and care. As a client you will be able to communicate with me any time of day and will receive frequent updates on your pet, including photos.

Safety, trust & environment
We regard safety as the most important part of our job. Guests are introduced in a controlled manner and maintain a calm environment to reinforce positive behaviors. We utilize baby-gates to keep guests separate during feeding times and to section off parts of our home including the kitchen and staircases. Guests are never off leash outside of our fenced areas. We use 6ft tall chain link panels to provide guests with an exercise area and an off leash experience. We are more than happy to work with dogs of different temperaments and take the necessary precautions to do so.
Pets
A typical day
Our aim is to simulate the environment of your pet at home- from feeding times and walking schedule to replicating their typical overnight situation. We are outside on walks a minimum of three times per day and more if the weather allows. If your pet is a couch potato or a high energy dog we’ll make sure they’re following a familiar routine.
