I grew up with dogs, and miss them dearly in my life! Friends, neighbors and family have relied on me for years to take care of their pets: while away traveling, or in hardships. From closely monitoring my friend's cat after surgery when she couldn't call off work, to weeklong stays in family homes with rambunctious puppies, I've done it all. I've always had a passion for animals, including exotic pet care! I have personally kept a freshwater aquarium and understand that fish and reptile care is much more detailed and intensive than many may first assume. You can rest easy knowing your pets will be in good hands, and will be given the detailed care and attention they deserve.

I am currently not offering care through my own home, but I am happy to provide check ins on many varieties of pets! I adore reptiles and exotic pets, and will happily feed, administer care, and help wear them out by playing inside, in the yard, or walking the nearby area.

Ellen provided a great boarding experience. She is kind, patient and attentive. We received updates and photos. Harper had plenty of exercise, playtime and love.
Ellen is a fantastic dog sitter! We trusted her with our 12-year-old Maltese for a weekend and she sent us many pictures of them doing our dog's favorite activity, snuggling. She also took her for many walks and did not mind that our Maltese has her own opinions on walks, she let her take her time to sniff everything. Our Maltese came back to us happy and we could see she loved Ellen. Ellen was also very responsive to all of our messages getting back to us quickly. Ellen has also watched our cats and while they require less than our dog, she gave them lots of love. She is very reliable and takes great care to learn your routines so the pets experience as few changes as possible for their comfort. We look forward to having Ellen watch our pets again, including our new puppy who is already 40#.

Schedule
I'm currently in recovery from a chronic pain condition. This gives me incredible flexibility to take on care at any time, and give your pets the attention they deserve! Depending on my health, my availabily may fluctuate, but now that I'm finally on the upswing I'm ready to be active and my abilites will only increase in the coming months!
