Pet care experience
I love part-time pets!
I am a trainee at CHCO and would love to help care for your pet! I have always had pets in my home, but can't commit to a permanent pet at this time, so I'd love to help care for your pets part-time! I have extensive experience caring for cats and dogs (including those with some additional medical needs) and some experience with other small animals and birds. I currently live in an apartment and sadly can’t have pets here- but would love to care for your pets and home! My schedule is variable, but flexible!

Ellen was amazing! Genuinely the best dog sitter we have found on rover. She was extremely communicative, kind, and you can 100% tell how much she cares about each animal. Would absolutely book with her again!
Ellen is a gem. She took excellent care with Darcy and Lissie. Darcy is a skittish rescue pup. but with Ellen’s care she was relaxed and calm when I got home. Ellen has my repeat business. My neighbors also told me that Darcy was walked frequently and looked happy. There is no higher praise I can give.

Ellen was simply amazing with our pup and took excellent care of our house while we were gone. She kept in touch with photos and updates which always make being away a little easier. I can't say enough wonderful things about her, we'll definitely book her again.

My schedule is variable, but generally quite flexible. I do not accept bookings when my schedule is busy to ensure I have plenty of time with your pups!

Unfortunately, I’m currently an apartment dweller so I’m unable to care for your pets in my home, but will take excellent care of your home while caring for animals there. Happy to help out with minor household tasks while housesitting.
A typical day
I love to be active and walk and play with pups I am sitting. If they’re up for a hike, I love to take dogs out on trails. At times, much of my work is remote, allowing me to spend plenty of downtime hanging out with animals at home. I’ll be sure to clarify if I will be going into work while housesitting for you so you know if your pups will be alone during the day.
