Hi, my name is Ellen! I'm a grad student looking to walk and look after people's pets in my free time! I have worked as a veterinary assistant for 6 years (and received the accolade "Expert Handler"), I've worked taking care of exotic animals at an animal rescue, and I've worked at the zoo, among many other animal related jobs. I had a dog that recently passed away after 14 years so I have personal experience with pets as well and am capable of taking care of sick/aging dogs. You can trust that your pets would be in caring, experienced hands! And get plenty of walks! I'm a very active person, the more walks in a day the better! I would be honored to take care of your pet!

Ellen has been working with animals her whole life - from volunteering at animal shelters and veterinary offices to helping find homes for pets of military members while they are away. She will care for your beloved furry friend as if they were her own. If you are looking for someone to walk or watch your dog, she is the one for the job and she has the resume to back it up!

I've known Ellen her whole life. She's always had a passion for and natural way with animals. Her experiences including working as an Expert Handler for a mobile veterinary clinic that traveled around the Midwest and volunteering at a non-profit animal rescue organization have given her the opportunity to work closely with many different animal species. Growing up with a dog, she's learned the care and responsibility that goes into raising a dog. Her dependability, compassionate, and gentle nature with animals has been apparent even in our community as many neighbors and family friends reach out for her when looking for someone to watch their dogs while they are on vacation.

Working 8-4 on weekdays otherwise available for lots of long dog walks! Also available for drop in’s to check in on pets, feed them, and play with them!
