I have a lifelong passion for animals, having grown up with dogs, which fostered my deep understanding of pet care and behavior. Throughout college, I provided pet and house sitting services, gaining valuable experience in caring for a variety of pets and ensuring their comfort and well-being in their own homes. Currently, I share my home with two full-breed Havanese dogs, ages 2.5 (Pippin 🐶) and 6 (Pearl 🐶), and I continue to apply my experience in caring for pets of different ages, personalities, and needs. My background in animal care, combined with my hands-on experience, enables me to provide attentive, reliable, and compassionate care for pets in any setting.

Ellen was an amazing caretaker for our dog. She made sure he was comfortable with her 2 dogs before we committed to a few nights of him staying at her home. She sent daily updates and pictures, which I always appreciate. She and her partner were the best company for our dog! Will call them again.

Schedule
I work from home three days per week and take regular breaks to let my dogs outside or play for a bit, which helps all of us stay refreshed. I don't work on weekends, which allows plenty of time for snuggles, long walks, and playtime.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a secure, fenced backyard and two friendly dogs who can provide companionship for your pet while you're away. For their safety, I always ensure that pets are kept on a leash when outside. Additionally, I have an extra crate available and can separate dogs as needed to ensure a comfortable environment for all animals in my care.

A typical day
We play in the backyard multiple times a day, enjoying games of fetch and exploring. We also go on regular walks around the neighborhood (to get plenty of sniffing!), play with a variety of toys, and cuddle up for cozy naps. It's a balanced routine that keeps us active, happy, and relaxed!
