Hi there! My name is Ellen and I have been a life long dog lover. I had two large dogs growing up (an Australian shepherd and pit bull mix), babysat and walked others frequently, and worked in animal shelters for 6 years. Basically I have been around dogs my whole life! I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments- shy dogs, anxious dogs, and temperamental dogs included! I only work three days a week as a nurse so my schedule is very flexible and I am glad to be able to fill that time with dogs! I love going for walks, playing fetch, and giving belly rubs. I will make sure you and your pooch are fully satisfied and well taken care of. In my home I have 2 adult male cats and a 2 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I am home a lot with my "zoo" so adding another dog into the mix would be very natural.

My pup Rocky had the best time with Ellen for his first stay! I was a little anxious for his first overnight visit, but Ellen instantly made me feel at ease. She's super patient and kind and kept me updated with pictures and videos throughout the day which I appreciated. I would definitely book with Ellen again!

Ellen has been watching my mini golden doodle for years and I don't trust anyone else! She treats Harper like her own and always updates me on how she's doing. I love that Harper has another doggy friend to play with while she's there and her and Marli have so much fun

Schedule
I work 3 days a week and the rest of the time I am at home and able to give full attention to my pets. I make Marli a priority and we go on daily walks and play fetch with her in the yard.

I have an unfenced yard and all my pets are good with other animals. I always read the dog's behavior to make sure any situation they're in is comfortable and safe.

A typical day
Our house is a perfect blend of fun and relaxation. I like to take Marli on at least one long walk a day and play fetch or tug. Sometimes we go to the trail nearby and sometimes we just walk and explore the neighborhood. Pets are allowed on the furniture so we can relax after they are all worn out.
