I’m a lifelong animal lover with a particular soft spot for dogs! I grew up fostering dogs overseas, alongside having our own much-loved Collie and multiple cats over the years. As a teen, I was also the neighbourhood cat feeder when neighbours went on holiday, and during Covid I helped several local families with young children with dog walking. More recently, my family have had two bonkers Dalmatians – the most lovable and energetic bunch! They’ve definitely taught me that some dogs need a firm hand alongside plenty of cuddles. I’m comfortable looking after, caring for and walking well-behaved dogs of all shapes and sizes, and love getting to know their individual personalities. I previously worked as a teacher and now work for a charity. I work from home most days, which means I’m around to give your dog plenty of company, attention and cuddles. I live with my partner, Ted, in a dog-friendly home with a reasonably sized secure garden, and dogs have full use of the downstairs areas. We’re lucky to have easy access to plenty of lovely walks around Poynton and the surrounding countryside, so there are lots of opportunities for good walks, sniffing and exploring. While we’re not quite ready to commit to a dog of our own full-time, we’re very excited to welcome lots of furry friends into our home instead! I’ll treat your dog as one of the family while they’re with me, and I’m always happy to send photo updates so you can see how they’re getting on.
