At my home I have a fenced-in back yard and live in a walkable neighborhood (Emerson East in Madison). I love going for good walks and hiking trails with pups. Also have a nice big deck. I’m not picky about pets on furniture in my apartment.

A typical day
I’m down for anything with the fur babes. Walks, snuggles, tricks, fetch, hikes, swim, play dates, etc. I like to be active and outside as much as I can!

I love animals! Really, all (except mosquitoes). I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment but I’ve had a lot of experience being a dog/cat guardian and trainer! My philosophy for pets is grounded in responsible stewardship and prioritizing that animals feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. I have a masters and education specialist degree in educational psychology and work with kids with disabilities during the school year. I’m looking for some play and snuggle time while I have time off in the summer!

Ellen is an amazing caregiver to all animals. She is deeply connected to them and knows what they need and want. She would be an astounding pet parent for the weekend or any amount of length of time. She has personally taken care of my 6 year old and loves him to bits whenever she does. I know that Ellen is a responsible and loving pet caregiver through years of personal experience.
Ellen has cared for our for our dog on numerous occasions including overnight. She always makes sure our dog gets plenty of exercise and enrichment. Ellen has also raised, trained, and cared for a couple dogs of her own, previously.
