Hi, I'm Ellen! I'm an original Austinite, fully vaccinated, reliable, and looking forward to meeting your fur-child! My life partner, Joe, is a 5-star rated wag walker and pet lover! He will be joining me and giving your pets lots of snuggles, but I will be the main caretaker/point of contact. I have experience sitting dogs, cats, and even a bunny. Besides the basics, like feeding, watering, and potty breaks, I'm big on animal mental health. I enjoy taking them on walks, giving treats, pets, and love, so that when you return they are just as happy as when you left! I genuinely love animals, so that part isn't hard. ;) Additionally, I'm a remote worker and a bit of a homebody so, lucky for you, your fur babies will have round-the-clock company! I also spend the night, or I can sleep at my own house if you prefer. Finally, I’m also a 5-star rated Wag Walker with experience walking over a hundred dogs. I also have experience working as a puppy nanny where I helped a busy couple care for and train their puppies for several months. If you think I would be a good fit, please message me. I like to make sure every time I'm over they get all their needs met - food, water, and potty breaks of course, but also their wants - playtime, love, treats, long walks, and more! It's important to me that their mental health is vibrant when you return. :)

Ellen is a punctual and caring sitter. She cared for my pupper during the Independence Day holiday when I had to step out of the town for a personal trip. She took good care of my pet - and made sure he was comfortable during fireworks. She understands pets needs and adapts to it. I can always leave my pet to her without having to worry about my pet. She’s an awesome pet and house sitter.
Ellen was amazing! We had some last minute changes to our trip and she was very accommodating! We came home to a happy, sleeping puppy and are so thankful!
We’re so happy with the kind & thoughtful care Ellen provided for our sweet older dog. Ellen was very attentive to our dog’s needs, easy to communicate with, sent cute updates & pics, and left our home neat & tidy. Best of all, when we came home our sensitive dog was happy, calm, & had obviously had a wonderful week with Ellen. We’re grateful for the excellent care!

I'm currently working part-time as a remote worker who sets her own schedule. I'm pretty flexible and have open availability. For example, I have dog-sat for last-minute weekend trips and extended two-month trips.
