I have been a dog lover my whole life. I am very familiar with large and small dogs. I grew up with a terrier and in adulthood my husband and I have been the proud owners of 4 beloved labs and now one beagle! Currently, we own a ten-year-old mixed rescue lab and a one-year-old rescue beagle. Our lab mix is on medication so we are familiar with medical issues. Over the years we have watched many of our family and friends’ pets. Our pets are friendly with both people and other dogs. We do not have any children so we consider them our furry children. My husband is retired and I work part-time so someone will be at our home at all times. We would accept caring for dogs any day of the week and for either short-term or long-term stays. Our yard Is well-equipped to safeguard dogs and allow for plenty of playtime with our 2 rescues. It is fenced, we have a doggy door and in the summer dogs can swim in our in ground pool. If your dog would rather take walks in the neighborhood we would gladly do that instead. We also have a dog park nearby.

I can’t say enough about Ellen & Brian. Our Desi got along well With her own 2 dogs and I did not worry one bit about her care while we were away on vacation! Ellen sent updates via text as well as photos and videos to ease Our mind of how well she was doing. Desi is notorious for not eating for a day or two while away from Home, and we told Ellen to expect that…. she proved us wrong by sending us videos of her eating every meal for Her. That confirmed to us that Desi felt at Home and loved staying with Ellen & Brian! We have found our new favorite dog sitters!!❤️
Ellen and Brian were awesome! They took such great care of our pup, Scout. They sent videos and updates throughout the trip and were super flexible after our flight got canceled and Scout needed to stay an extra night. He has been sleeping since he got home and can’t wait to go back when we go on our next vacation.
Ellen and Brian were absolutely wonderful with our little Lucy! They have a perfect place that is so dog friendly and comfortable. It's almost like this is Ellen and Brian's calling to care for our furry friends! I highly recommend them!

Ellen & Brian are fantastic sitters!!!! I was worried about leaving Lilly with new sitters. Within in the hour she was sending me pictures that she was fine. She sent many pictures and put all my worries to rest. I had a very relaxing vacation knowing my fur baby was in excellent care. Thank you you Ellen & Brian.
Bijou absolutely loves his stays at this rover! Ellen & Brian treat him as if he were a part of the family and we appreciate that so much. Bijou is pooped out and happy from his sleepover.

Schedule
Our husband and I are retired so we will have plenty of time to play with your pups. We are available for daycare any time of the week or boarding for any amount of time.

Our pets are not crated but will do so for your pet if needed. Our yard is fenced and we have a doggie door. Our pets are allowed in most rooms inside our house.

A typical day
I can walk your dog in my neighborhood or go to one of the dog parks located near to me. I can also play fetch with your dog with a frisbee or ball in my fenced in yard. In the summer your dog can swim in my in ground pool. My 2 labs can also play with your dog as well.
