I’d also like to know about any medications, health concerns, fears, or behaviors I should be aware of. My goal is to keep your pet happy, safe, and feeling right at home.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to tailor my care to their personality, energy level, and routine. For dogs, that may include walks, playtime, enrichment activities, plenty of affection, and outdoor breaks throughout the day. For cats, I enjoy interactive play sessions, treats (if approved), brushing, cuddles on their terms, and making sure they have a clean, comfortable environment. During my visits, I make sure pets receive lots of attention, exercise, and companionship while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. Whether your pet loves long walks, chasing toys, lounging in the sun, or simply having someone nearby, I strive to make their time with me fun, comfortable, and stress free. Of course, you’ll also receive photo updates so you can see all the fun your furry family member is having while you’re away!

Hi there! My name is Ellen, and I’ve always been an animal lover. I grew up with dogs as family pets and have always been comfortable caring for animals of all kinds. I currently have two fur babies of my own, Sissy and Gatsby. Sissy is a gorgeous calico cat, and Gatsby is a handsome tuxedo cat who keeps life entertaining. I have been pet sitting for many years, starting with family and friends before growing my own client base through referrals and repeat customers. Along the way, I’ve also had the opportunity to work with Comfort Zone Sitters and Dréa’s Dogsitting LLC, which helped me gain experience caring for pets with different personalities, routines, and needs. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets, and I strive to provide reliable, attentive care while keeping pet parents updated for peace of mind. My goal is always to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

Ellen is the best of the best!!! Over the past few years I’ve had several pet sitters when we leave on vacation, but Ellen goes above and beyond. She took care of two of our pets, who were basically in heaven for a week. I look forward to having Ellen take care of our pets again in the future!!
Ellen Boyd did an excellent job of taking care of my precious kitty Hazel. Hazel is a year old and I have never left her for more than overnight since I got her. I was very hesitant about leaving her, as she loves “ human touch “! Ellen reassured me and even sent photos which relieved my worries. I recommend her highly and would definitely hire her again in the future.
Ellen did a fabulous job with our dog! She was so loving and we never worried about their care. She would send updates and pictures multiple times daily and didn’t hesitate to reach out if she had questions. We would welcome her to watch our dogs anytime, without hesitation!
After losing our 14 year old we were very anxious to go out of town and leave our 10 year old girl at home. So we decided to hire Ellen to stay with Jayda during our vacation. Ellen made us beyond comfortable the entire time we were gone. She went above and beyond to make sure our girl was happy. She took her for walks and played ball with her everyday. For Jayda playing ball is everything so we were so thankful for Ellen and all that she did for her while we were gone. We’ve already booked her for our next vacation. We can’t recommend her enough.
