Dogs love Elle in Soho
Friendly girl who loves dogs— responsible and available to help. I grew up with dogs, bunnies, and goldfish. I was the most knowledgeable person about animals in the family and often friends ask me to take care of their dogs while they are away. Also, I have engineering background and I can break down a problem and give a solution for everything. Friends say they can trust me, I'd say it's a good sign. Also, I dog sat for a year when I lived in San Francisco and 8 years in Palo Alto. I would take the dog out for walks, to dog parks, mountains, and beaches and looked for places each dogs would enjoy. I do the same in my neighborhood. I also helped a professional dog walker who's in business for a long time in San Francisco; taking dogs to nature and let them run around and I very much enjoyed it. I am generally loved by dogs and kids. When I sit dogs, I am with them the entire time and constantly watching. ** For timid or nervous dogs, I pay extra attention.

Elle is the best! She watched my shy and fearful dog for a week while I was traveling to another country. She was absolutely wonderful! Took very careful notes at all of our instructions and sent us pictures throughout the week. We felt our dog Hazel was in the best of hands and did not worry at all the entire time. I’m currently taking a break from traditional work and enjoying a slower pace of life, which means I have flexible, dedicated time to give 100% of my attention to the pets in my care. I typically wake up around 5:30 AM, so I’m always ready for early-morning walks and bright-eyed routines to start the day off right! Custom Meal Preparation & Sensitive Stomachs I follow every pet’s feeding schedule and dietary instructions with exact precision. If your dog has a complex meal routine or a sensitive stomach, I take extra care with their food preparation—and I love sending quick photo confirmations of their meals so you know they are eating well and staying on track. Frequent Updates & Peace of Mind I believe you should never have to wonder how your pup is doing. I love sharing special moments throughout the day and regularly send photo updates, activity check-ins, and reassuring notes every 30 to 60 minutes. My goal is for you to feel completely connected, relaxed, and confident while your pet is in my home!

My apartment is clean, organized, and free of clutter so pets can explore safely and comfortably. Pet-Safe Cleaning: I exclusively use natural, non-toxic cleaning products—such as lemon and vinegar—to ensure your pet is never exposed to harsh or dangerous chemicals. Flexible Pet Gates: I have adjustable safety gates installed to manage boundaries as needed. This allows me to create a calm, contained space for timid pets or restrict access to certain areas for maximum safety. Soothing Music for Solitude: If I ever need to step out briefly for essential errands or quick shopping, I play peaceful, calming nature music to keep the environment relaxing and prevent separation anxiety. Secure & Peaceful Environment: The apartment is kept quiet, secure, and stress-free, allowing each pet to settle in at their own pace and feel right at home.
A typical day
Depending on your dog’s energy level and your preferences, we start the morning with a refreshing walk or some fun playtime at a safely enclosed local court. I tailor every activity to match your dog’s personality—whether that means playing tug with a favorite toy, light fetch, or simply sniffing and exploring the surroundings at their own pace. Perceptive Play & Balance During play, I am very attentive to mood and body language. If I notice any subtle signs of overstimulation or frustration, I calmly step in and transition to a soothing activity to keep interactions safe, balanced, and positive. Rest & Afternoon Companionship After active time, we wind down with plenty of rest, gentle cuddles (if they love affection!), and peaceful companionship. Whether your dog prefers napping right beside me or lounging nearby, I make sure they feel completely secure and comfortable all day long. Evening Wind-Down In the evening, we head out for a final stroll, followed by dinner and a calming bedtime routine. I stay attentive until your dog is fully settled for the night—ensuring they feel safe, content, and cozy before drifting off to sleep.
