To provide the best care possible, I’d love to know: Daily routine (meal times, walk times, bedtime) Any medications or special health needs Triggers or anxieties (e.g., thunderstorms, vacuum, other dogs) Favorite activities, toys, or comfort items House rules (furniture, off-leash, etc.) The more I know about your pet’s habits and preferences, the better I can make them feel at ease while you’re away!
A typical day
A typical day starts with morning snuggles and a refreshing walk or playtime session (depending on your pet’s routine). I make sure everyone gets their meals on schedule, with plenty of affection and enrichment throughout the day. For dogs, that might include neighborhood walks, fetch in the yard, or puzzle toys indoors. For cats, playtime with favorite toys and cozy lounging are a must. Evenings are for calm companionship — gentle brushing, treats, and relaxation before bedtime. My goal is to make each day feel as close to “normal” as possible for your pets — full of love, consistency, and fun.

Hi there! I’m Elle — an artist, crafter, and lifelong animal lover with over 12 years of active pet care experience through Rover. In that time I’ve had the joy of caring for pets of all kinds — from energetic puppies and curious kittens to senior pets needing extra patience and support. For years, I specialized in boarding pets in my home, which gave me a deep understanding of animal behavior, routines, and comfort needs. I’m now shifting my focus to in-home house and pet sitting, allowing your pets to stay relaxed in their familiar environment while you’re away. I’m comfortable with all sizes and temperaments, experienced in medication administration (oral and topical), and attentive to each pet’s unique needs and personality. My approach is calm, consistent, and rooted in positive reinforcement and communication. Elle was such a professional, she asked plenty of questions during our consultation that I knew I was leaving my two pups in good hands. Our senior dog has mobility issues and she took great care of him as well as our other dog. We received updates and they both look well cared for. She also took excellent care of the house while on our trip. Would definitely book her again.
Happy to have Elle back house-sitting with Daisy! It was easy to feel super confident leaving Elle with the home, and, Daisy loved it so much she tried to refuse to let Elle leave at the end of their three days together. Elle is a wonderful friend to dogs :)
My dog has loved boarding will Elle for several years, but this was our first time with house-sitting. Elle was a great house guest! Everything was left super clean, nicer than it started. Elle took the time to listen to listen to all my instructions through a long tour of the house on the first day. She made sure to send me updates that evening after I nervously left my dog behind, as well as throughout the stay, of the fun things they were doing together.
Elle took such great care of our two dogs, cat, and house! She came through with last-minute pet-sitting and we feel so lucky to have found Elle! She sent regular updates with photos and videos, kept our pets safe and happy, and left our house in immaculate condition (probably cleaner than when she arrived). She cared for our dog who has separation anxiety and took extra steps to ensure he was happy. She also played with our active cat to keep him happy.
