I have a fenced yard. I have safety harnesses to take my cats on walks. I ensure their water is always full and the fountain is cleaned weekly. I have auto feeders for my cats so they never miss a mealtime if I need to be out of the house. Litter boxes are cleaned daily sometimes twice a day. We play several times every day. It’s important to keep them active to live longer.

A typical day
It all depends on the animal. Some dogs like long walks around nature. Others like short walks and seeing people. I’ve taken dogs for hikes often. I grew up outdoors so I’m also careful where I go to minimize any issues with wildlife. I love throwing the ball and playing fetch.

I’ve had cats and dogs through out my life. I love all animals, even snakes! I am an avid bird watcher and I provide food and water for animals who live outdoors. I’ve always loved being the caretaker for animals. I work with a few animal sanctuaries and rescues. I work with TNR programs in DC, MD, VA, and WVA. I often petsit for family and friends when they go out of town.
