I work full-time hours with a schedule that varies week to week, so I’m available to do drop-ins only! Some days I may not be able to make it at the exact time I’m scheduled for a Rover Card, but regardless I will drop in as soon as I’m able to for any given day!

As I’m looking to care for pets in client’s homes, I plan to follow the basic rules for that said pet. To each their own. Obviously, while outside, the dog should be leashed unless we are in a fenced and safe environment. I follow feeding, sleep, play, and exercise schedules as directed.

It’s very important to know their personality, favorite things, things they don’t like, any quirks, behavioral issues, medication/allergies, and basic care instructions such as feeding and sleeping habits.
A typical day
I love to have playtime, but also nap/cuddle time. I love getting to bond with every dog I’m a sitter for. It’s very important to get to know the individual dog before determining what a typical day would look like.

Pet care experience
I’ve never not owned dogs and cats. I’ve been with rescues and fosters, I love taking care of animals no matter the type, they all have their own individual big personalities and I adore that, I love getting to know an animal. When I was 13, I played a big role in caring for our puppy, Ashes. I have experience training her, and following puppy feeding and potty schedules. Some of our fosters have been elderly. To me it’s really important to be gentle with them. They are just as worthy of love as any other. Same goes for special needs dogs. We fostered a boxer named Carly, who was blind. She was one of my favorite fosters.

Ella did a fantastic job taking care of my kitties over the holidays! She thoroughly read the instructions I left her, paid good attention to detail, and kept the house clean. She even cleaned the sink, which was a pleasant surprise! She managed my cats' different dietary needs, including supplements and loading an automatic feeder, and handled one of the cats puking multiple times like a champ (on Christmas, no less!). She was highly communicative throughout her visits, which I appreciated. She's also a great picture taker! She sent pictures in the Rover Cards that really captured my cats' personalities. That showed me they felt comfortable with her, which made me feel much better about being away. I wholeheartedly recommend Ella as a sitter!
Ella was kind, on time, spent time with our Kitties, brought in some mail that got delivered, very easy to communicate with and very communicative. Very much appreciate her and would recommend her to anyone.
Ella is an amazing pet sitter! She communicates when she’s at the house to check on them and when she leaves she gave me all the details on how they did. She also sent pictures of all three of my babies which I loved! My dogs are very skittish but I could tell when she came to meet them the day before our trip she was going to be patient and loving towards them. I also had a last minute change of how long I would be away and she helped me out a bunch by watching them an extra day. Can’t recommend her enough!
Ella has truly been a blessing to have for our animals. Her attentive care for our dogs and watchful eye on the farm leave us with a tremendous peace of mind while we are away. With Ella, I never worry, as I trust that our furry friends are not just looked after but also spoiled with affection. We highly recommend Ella to all our friends seeking a reliable and caring pet sitter.
