Pet care experience
I'd love to get to know your dog
I'm an experienced dogsitter, with 3 years on Rover and 3 regular clients. Over the years I've taken on breeds of all shapes and sizes. I have also helped to look after the family miniature schnauzer for 13 years (she's getting old now!) and I have previously looked after a friend's dog for 3 months. I do my best to make sure they're happy, mostly by getting to know them and their personality - it's amazing how dogs can be so different from each other. It also helps to have clear communication from you on what they need and what quirks they have. I don't have space to host animals, so I visit dogs in their homes - I find that they are more comfortable this way anyway. I send regular photo updates and I am a good communicator. I have experience giving dogs medications, and have completed canine first aid training. I'm based in South Manchester, but I can travel further for multi-day stays or longer-term sits. Ella was brilliant with our Larry. He got good long walks, lots of attention and we came home to a happy dog. Elaine kept us updated on him through the sit, which we really appreciate. I will absolutely use Ella again when we need a dog sitter, and would recommend her to anyone in need of a sitter.
Ella is really calm, conscientious and friendly. She took time to understand what Tessa is like and needed. And she was an immediate hit with her. Her communication was brilliant and we’ll definitely be using her again!
Ella watched our dog who is a greyhound for the day and she was really great. She updated us regularly and was very happy to be booked last minute - which we were very grateful for! Thanks again Ella :)
Ella looked after Molly and Lassie whilst we were away for a week. She was really good with them and made sure they were well looked after. She also kept us updated whilst we were away with lots of photos and videos. We would highly recommend Ella to look after your dogs ??
Ella she is exellence with Daisy. We recommend Ella we probably leave Daisy with Ella when we’re going away again. Ella is the top girl/woman for the job.
Cece had a fab time with Ella, Ella treated her to some amazing walks and day outs and I got lots of regular updates, photos and videos which was so nice to see and to see Cece was clearly having a great time and was happy and settled. Ella was super quick to respond, kept in great contact and was kind enough to be flexible when we kept changing plans and times! Super grateful to Ella and hope Cece can to stay with her again!

Schedule
I am working from home part time, so it is easy for me to take care of dogs and provide enough attention and regular walks. I love walking anyway, so it's nice to have a companion!

Safety, trust & environment
In the your home, I take care of the dog as you would. It usually works best for us to meet there first, so you can show me where everything is and talk me through the dog's daily routine.
A typical day
I like to get out, so between parks, the Peaks, and exploring the local area, there's enough to keep us occupied. I've been known to take dogs on such long walks that they sleep for days after! Belly rubs on the couch are always necessary after so much excitement. For the more mellow or elderly dog, we can have some more leisurely walks, or plays in the garden.
