I already have some dog-walking clients so that is something to consider but my schedule is mostly pretty open for your dog needs! With the summer heat, I prefer walking dogs earlier in the day or later in the day so they don't get too overheated. But, of course, I am happy to walk your furry friends based on your schedule!

Because I have two dogs I don't board dogs at my house. I am more than happy to watch your dogs at your own home. I also think most dogs prefer this because it is a comfortable and familiar environment. I have worked with dogs who use invisible fences, physical fences, or need to be on a leash anytime they're outside. I'm comfortable with any of these scenarios. I am very flexible and am happy to cater to the needs of you, your pet, and your home.

Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any specific needs! I typically meet with the family and dog before they leave so you all get comfortable with me before leaving. I don't require this but families usually appreciate a quick meet.
A typical day
I will keep your dogs busy all day and have them tired out by the end of each day! Depending on the weather I usually like to do a morning hike/long. If the dog has toys I love to play fetch, tug of war, etc. Depending on the dog's energy levels I'll occasionally do an evening walk too to get their energy out before bed.

Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs and cats for friends, family, and neighbors since I was 16 years old. Growing up, I have always had at least one dog in my house, so I am very comfortable with them. I have cared for cats, older dogs, younger dogs, many different breeds, and both male and female dogs. I have experience dog sitting, dog walking, and just doing mid-day check-ins. I'm currently walking dogs a couple of times a week while their owners are at work and have been dog-sitting very regularly. I love going on walks, hikes, and any other kind of adventure with pups and always cater to the needs of each individual dog. I have had dogs with health issues so I am comfortable watching dogs with physical injuries and following medication regimens.

Ella is wonderful! She is outgoing, friendly, and an excellent communicator. More important, she clearly adores dogs. She quickly bonded with our shy & anxious girl, Mina, at their first meeting. As well, Ella was unflustered when I realized I'd scheduled the wrong day for one of Mina's walks. Thankfully, she was able to accommodate my (very) last-minute revision! We will definitely request Ella again!!
Ella took great care of our dog who can be stubborn- but he loves her! Highly recommend!
Ella did a great job watching Chuck! She sent updates and pictures during the stay which was great. She was also very flexible and understanding when I had issues with flights getting delayed that impacted when I could pick him up. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Ella and I know Chuck would love to go back.
Ella was great!!! She took great care of our dog Zacky. She sent us updates with pics of Zacky having fun with her. We will definitely be hiring Ella again. Thank you Ella!
