Hi! My name is Ella. I’m 21 years old and originally from Marblehead, Massachusetts. I’m going into my senior year at the University of Denver, where I’m studying while enjoying life in Colorado. This summer, I’m staying in Colorado and working. When I’m not at work, you can usually find me spending time outdoors, hiking, or practicing yoga. I’ve had five dogs of my own, so I have plenty of experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I truly love animals and enjoy making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for!

Schedule
I work in the office 2–3 days a week, but my schedule is very flexible since I can choose my own days and hours. I also occasionally babysit in the evenings or early mornings. Overall, I have a flexible schedule and can often accommodate a variety of pet care needs.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, needs, and any special instructions so they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. In a client’s home, I make every effort to maintain their normal routine by following feeding schedules, providing fresh water, going on walks, giving plenty of playtime and attention, and administering medications if needed. I also make sure the home is secure by locking doors, keeping the space tidy, and providing regular updates with photos so you can have peace of mind. If I’m caring for a pet in my own home, I provide a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of exercise, affection, and supervision. I always prioritize each pet’s safety and make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and at home.

A typical day
I love keeping pets active, engaged, and happy! Depending on each pet’s age, energy level, and personality, I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, visiting nearby parks, and spending plenty of time playing outdoors. For more relaxed pets, I’m just as happy to cuddle on the couch, give belly rubs, or keep them company while they nap
