As an incoming veterinary student, I’m very used to maintaining a structured routine and planning my schedule carefully around animal care. Between my experience in veterinary medicine, caring for my own pets, and fostering both dogs and kittens, providing consistent care for animals is already a part of my everyday life. I’m comfortable keeping up with feeding schedules, medications, walks, playtime, and giving pets the attention and care they need while you’re away.

I always try to keep pets as comfortable and stress-free as possible by following their normal routine closely. In a client’s home, I make sure pets stay on their regular feeding, potty, walk, play, and medication schedules while also giving them plenty of attention and companionship. In my own home, I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment where pets are closely supervised and treated like family. I also understand how important updates are, so I’m happy to send pictures and check-ins while you’re away.

Before caring for a pet, I like to know about their normal routine, personality, and any medical or behavioral needs they may have. I also like knowing their favorite toys, treats, sleeping spots, or anything else that helps them feel comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. Every pet is different, and I always want to make sure I’m caring for them in the way that works best for them.
A typical day
I love making sure pets stay happy, active, and engaged while their owners are away! Depending on each pet’s personality and energy level, I enjoy going on walks, playing with toys, giving treats and enrichment activities, spending time outside, and of course giving plenty of cuddles and attention. I also love helping shy or nervous pets feel more comfortable by moving at their pace and making sure they feel safe and relaxed.

Hi! My name is Ella, and I’ve had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember. I’ll be starting veterinary school in August 2026 and have worked in veterinary medicine for the past five years in a variety of clinical and shelter settings. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs, and I’m comfortable administering medications if needed. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while giving owners peace of mind that their pets are in good hands. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
