The occasional commitment aside, my schedule is adaptable for mornings, afternoons, and evenings -- just let me know what your dog needs. I'm based in a house where there's already a resident dog, so any pup coming to stay would be entering a dog-familiar environment, though I keep my solo top-floor room completely separate if you'd prefer your dog to have their own calm space away from the household. I'm experienced at introducing dogs to new environments and other animals from my rescue work, so I'm confident in managing the meet process carefully. Since I work remotely and flexibly, I genuinely love having a dog around on my Rover days -- whether that's a pup chillin' under my desk, hangin' out by my piano, or giving me the perfect excuse to take frequent walking breaks throughout the day! 🐾 🐶

I do have experience with reactive dogs and know how to handle introductions carefully and calmly, and I've cared for elderly dogs who need a gentler pace. Just let me know upfront about anything specific to your dog and I'll make sure I'm prepared. The more I know about them before we meet, the better! 🐾
A typical day
A typical day with me usually starts with a proper walk with time to sniff, explore Kingston, and just be a dog! If I've got a pup with me for the day, they're hanging out in my room while I work (under the desk, by the piano, on my carpet, wherever they settle). I take regular walking breaks throughout the day so there's plenty of fresh air and movement. Drop-in visits get the same energy: I'm not rushing in and out, I actually spend time with them. Every dog is different so I follow their "lead" on what a good day looks like for them 🐶 🐾

I grew up in central Texas where I helped rescue and re-home 6+ dogs from kill shelters in San Antonio -- walking, feeding, bathing, introducing dogs to new environments, and finding two of them their furever homes. 🏡 I've handled everything from bouncy puppies to senior dogs who just need a calm presence and a good longgg, slow walk. 🐕 Now based in Kingston, I specialize in dog walking and drop-in visits. My schedule is remote & flexible, so I can work around yours -- mornings, mid-afternoons, evenings, whatever your pup needs! I treat every walk like it matters, because it does :) For regular clients I already know and trust, I'm also happy to discuss boarding in my private top-floor room, which is calm, quiet, and fully separated from the rest of the house. 🐾 🐶

Ella has taken care of her own dog (a dalmatian mix) and our dogs for many years. We've had all sizes of dogs, from a Belgian Malinois to mini-Corgis, and she is great with all of them. She genuinely loves dogs and finds great joy in seeing them thrive and be happy. She loves to spend time with them, as they help her feel happy herself. She's even volunteered as a foster parent and has been successful in finding great homes. As a person, she is very organized, responsible and reliable. If she says she'll be there or do something, she is there and she does it.
Ella is a lover of animals! She takes care of 6 dogs back home as well as 5 chickens and is always patient and kind with each one of them. She would make a great, responsible pet caregiver.
