Pet care is already a part of my daily routine. I work part-time Tuesday through Thursday from 3–6 PM and Saturdays from 8 AM–3 PM. Outside of those hours, I have flexible availability for drop-in visits and house sitting and can provide feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and medication administration as needed.

Every pet is different, so I tailor my care to their needs and routine. A typical day includes feeding, fresh water, walks if needed, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of attention. For cats, I make sure litter boxes stay clean and spend time playing or relaxing with them. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and currently help care for a high-energy Border Collie/Sheltie mix and three cats. I have experience caring for senior and special-needs pets, including administering transdermal and liquid medications and helping manage ongoing medical care for a cat with hyperthyroidism. I also helped care for a dog with hypothyroidism, pancreatitis, and liver disease, giving me experience following specialized care routines and monitoring pets with chronic health conditions. I’m comfortable reading cat and dog body language, handling multi-pet households, and caring for cats who are skilled escape artists. I understand that every pet has its own personality, routine, and needs, and I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away.

If you’re considering booking Ella, do it. We’ve relied on her for both house sitting and drop-in visits more times than we can count, and she’s never let us down. What stands out most is how comfortable our pets are with her. Some of our animals can be a little particular with new people, but they took to Ella right away. It’s obvious she has a natural connection with animals and knows how to make them feel safe and cared for. Beyond being great with pets, she’s respectful of our home, easy to work with, and always follows through on what she says she’ll do. When we’re away, we can actually enjoy our time knowing everything is taken care of. At this point, Ella feels less like a pet sitter and more like a trusted friend of the family. We can’t recommend her highly enough.
