A typical day is tailored to each pet's needs and routine. For dogs, that usually includes walks, outdoor playtime, plenty of potty breaks, feeding, and lots of attention and affection. I enjoy keeping dogs active through walks around the neighborhood, games of fetch, tug-of-war, and enrichment activities that help keep them mentally engaged. For pets who enjoy a slower pace, I'm equally happy to provide companionship, cuddles, and a calm environment where they feel safe and comfortable. Having raised service dog puppies, I understand the importance of consistency and positive reinforcement, so I always work to maintain the routines and expectations that pets are used to at home.

Hi! I'm a teacher in the Lancaster area looking to spend my summers doing something I genuinely enjoy—caring for animals. I have extensive experience with dog walking, pet sitting, and animal care, and I've worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. One of my most rewarding experiences has been serving as a volunteer puppy raiser for service dogs throughout college and even before then. This role taught me the importance of consistency, patience, training, and providing a safe, loving environment for dogs as they develop important skills. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I prioritize safety, communication, and consistency.
