I work in a school during term time, which means I have great availability during weekends, bank holidays, half terms and school holidays. I’m also available throughout the 6-week summer holidays, giving me plenty of flexibility for longer stays and when you may need extra support with your pets. I’m available for overnight stays, and longer periods of care during school holidays, offering reliable and loving support when you need someone you can trust with your pets 🐶🐱

Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness are always my top priorities. When caring for dogs and cats in their own home, I understand how important it is for them to remain in a familiar environment where they feel secure and relaxed. I will always take the time to learn your pet’s individual routine, personality and needs, including feeding schedules, walks, medication, favourite toys, sleeping arrangements and any specific instructions you have. I’ll make sure their environment stays clean, safe and comfortable while providing plenty of attention, enrichment, playtime and affection. I understand that every pet is different. Some may be energetic and love long walks and play, while others may prefer a quieter approach with lots of patience and reassurance. I’ll always respect their personality and make sure they receive care that suits them as an individual. I’ll treat your pets as if they were my own, providing reliable and loving care while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, giving you peace of mind that your pets are happy, safe and well looked after in their own home 🩷

Before your booking, I’d love to know as much as possible about your pet so I can give them the very best care. Please let me know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, walking requirements (for dogs), favourite toys, sleeping arrangements, any medication or health conditions, and anything that helps them feel happy and comfortable. It’s also really helpful to know about your pet’s personality, whether they’re nervous around new people, have any fears or anxieties, or have any behaviours I should be aware of. The more information you can share, the better I can tailor my care to their individual needs and make sure they feel safe, relaxed and loved while you’re away. If there are any house rules, security information or special instructions for caring for your pet in your home, please let me know in advance. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible and provide you with complete peace of mind throughout your time away.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so my day will always be tailored to their routine and personality! For dogs, the day might start with a morning walk, followed by breakfast, playtime and plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether they enjoy long walks, playing fetch, exploring new smells or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they get the exercise, enrichment and affection they need. For cats, I’ll follow their usual routine with feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, play sessions with their favourite toys and, of course, plenty of fuss if they enjoy it! For more independent cats, I’m just as happy to let them come to me in their own time and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. Throughout the day, I’ll make sure your pet has lots of love, companionship and care while sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you can see what they’ve been getting up to and have complete peace of mind while you’re away.

Pet care experience
I’ve absolutely loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been lucky enough to grow up surrounded by all kinds of pets. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs and more, so I’m confident adapting to different animals and their individual needs. I currently have a Shih Tzu called Teddy, who means the world to me, so I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust to care for your pet. I also have plenty of experience with cats, having looked after my own over the years, and my partner has five cats, so I’m very used to feeding, playing, cleaning litter trays and making sure each cat gets the attention and affection they need. I genuinely love spending time with animals and getting to know their unique personalities. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles or simply having someone calm and reassuring around, I’ll always make sure they feel safe, happy and cared for. I’ll look after your pets with the same love, patience and care that I give Teddy, and I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind 🩷
