I have worked at a veterinary hospital as a surgical assistant in the past to fulfill my passion for helping animals. I throughly enjoyed the medical aspect of working at the hospital and crave personal interactions with clients and pets. I can not remember ever having less than three pets at one time while growing up (as my family is just as passionate about animals as I am). This meant that for many years I took care of my own pets as well as neighbors. When I got older I began to volunteer at different organizations to gain animal-handling experience. Throughout college I was also a pet sitter through different programs. When I graduated I interned at a wildlife sanctuary and eventually began working where I am now. I enjoy having a positive impact on the pets and people I get the opportunity to work with.
