I’ve had at least one dog in my house all 23 years of my life! Ranging in size from 3 kg to 23 kg, I’m not afraid of any dog, no matter how large. My most recent canine companion is an American Staffy terrier mix. I’ve also had cats, currently I have two! I have been pet sitting for almost my entire life, and recently spent a week taking care of a large house with three dogs (one chronic barker), two cats (one with special needs that required medicine administration) AND a gecko. At this point, I’m confident I can handle anything. Animals receive the energy you bring into the home, so I keep it calm, relaxed, and friendly. With dogs who have more energy, I have no problem keeping them entertained at their speed and will not mistake playfulness for aggression. I’m also no stranger to senior pet care.

Whatever schedule and training an animal owner has set for their animals, I follow! I approach every animal with respect and patience to earn their trust. With older dogs we can move at a slower pace, go for shorter walks, and relax on the couch. With younger, higher energy dogs we can go for long walks, go to the park, I can run with them and have them play with their toys. If dinner is usually at 7 pm for them, that’s exactly when I’ll feed them. If their morning walk is at 6:30, I’ll be there at 6:30. I try to keep things as normal and low-stress as possible for the animals in a situation that can be, at first, a little scary. I like to meet the animals before the service is necessary with the owner present if possible, that way I’m recognizable for your furry friends!

I have two cats and one very active pup, and I was so grateful to have Ella watch them when I was unexpectedly called out of town. She was able to meet with me on short notice, go over all of my pets’ needs, and make sure everything was taken care of while I was away. Ella was wonderful with my animals and so kind and easy to work with. She took excellent care of my fur babies, which gave me peace of mind and allowed me to be away without worrying about them. I will definitely use Ella’s pet-sitting services again in the future, and I’ve already recommended her to friends. I highly recommend Ella to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and trustworthy pet sitter!

Schedule
I’m currently studying for a language certification test and have a lot of time flexibility, so that means I can give your animals all the care they need and deserve! My schedule is almost completely up to me, as long as I have some hours to go to my prep course and study, I’m all set. I’m missing my pets from back home, so you can be sure yours will receive the same love I would give to my own fur babies!
