I work shift work, so it really depends on the month when I am off, but the upside of shift work is that I have decent chunks of time off between shift sets, so I have availability mid-week that other in-office workers might not!

I am a huge advocate for frequent play and walks, with plenty of naps, treats, and puppy love in between! I can crate your dog if needed for certain situations (i.e. cleaners, workers, visitors, etc). I am responsible, organized, and very tidy, so you can be sure that your space will be left just the way it was when I arrived (or perhaps cleaner!)

Give me a heads up if there's anything I should be aware of when on walks; i.e. if your pup is skittish around other dogs, has a strong pull on the lead, etc.
A typical day
I always make sure my family dogs live an active and play-filled lifestyle! From swimming at our local river, to walks in parks, to good old-fashioned games of tug, I'm always moving with my puppies when I visit home. Of course, I do love furry snuggles and cuddles as well!

Hi, I'm Ella! I‘ve been in the DMV area for about 5 years now, and recently moved from DC to MD. I love pups and have experience with dogs of all ages (childhood dogs; dog-sitting, walking, and boarding for Rover/Wag; pet-sitting for friends, etc.) No current pups of my own, although that may change now that I am out of the city! My family dog Barney is my best friend, and my family likes to joke that I am the human form of him - an endless ball of energy with a love of snuggles and naps! I work shift work, and often have large chunks of time off mid-week, so I figured I'd help out and make some new canine friends during my down time!

We worked with Ella for the first time this past week and she was great. She was extremely responsive, kind, and Melo seemed to have a great time with her. I would definitely recommend.
Ella took wonderful care of Annie! We're really glad to have found her as a sitter and would definitely recommend!
Ella was able to housesit for several days over Christmas, which we were extremely grateful for as family from different locations were coming together in one location. The initial meet-and-greet went very well and I felt confident the sitting would go well as Luna was immediately very relaxed (and comfortable) with Ella. Ella was responsive to the dog sitting (and house) instructions we provided and communicated updates on how Luna was adjusting (including pictures) while we were away. Few days had to be tough because of the deep cold snap that hit the DC area on Xmas eve and day making it hard to get out for dog walks. That said, we came home to a relaxed dog. We definitely would consider having Ella housesit Luna again in the future.
Ella is a HUGE dog lover, as well as a responsible and kind individual. She is punctual, communicative, and reliable, and she has successfully pet-sat and dog-walked for many people in our neighborhood. The dogs all love her, and so do the people she has worked for!
