I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to plan my day around pet care. I’m able to take breaks for walks, check-ins, feeding, and playtime throughout the day. Since I already care for my own pets daily, adding pet visits or walks fits naturally into my routine.

I try to keep pets on the same routine they’re used to when their owners are there, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or bedtime routines. My goal is to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible so pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. I like to know about your pet’s normal routine, feeding schedule, favorite activities, and any behaviors or quirks they might have. It’s also helpful to know if they have any medical needs, medications, or things that make them nervous. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure your pet stays comfortable and cared for while you’re away.
A typical day
I like to tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level. For dogs, that can include walks, playing fetch, tug, or just getting outside for some fresh air and exercise. For cats, I enjoy playing with toys, laser pointers, or wand toys, and giving them attention if they enjoy pets and cuddles. I’m also happy to just spend time with them so they have company and don’t feel lonely while their owners are away.

I’ve been around animals my whole life and currently have both dogs and cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I have previous experience pet sitting for both dogs and cats, including feeding, walks, playtime, litter box care, and making sure pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m patient and attentive and understand that every pet is different—some love lots of activity and attention, while others prefer a calm and quiet environment. I’m happy caring for pets of all temperaments and will make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while you’re gone.
