It is likely that your dog(s) will be the only boarder I will have in my home. If they get along with other dogs well I may have additional boarders but never more than 4 at a time. I also may have a foster dog at the time. Pets must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on their vaccinations. Due Peanut's small stature I am not able to accommodate dogs larger than 60lbs.

Home

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Information Elizabeth W. would like to know about your pet

All boarders must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on their vaccinations. They also must be small dog friendly. I prefer crate trained and house trained dogs but may make special exceptions. I have a large fenced in yard. The fence is 4 ft high so may not be appropriate for jumpers.

A typical day

I'm up for whatever your pup needs! Going for long walks or hiking is my favorite activity but I'm happy relaxing on the sofa with the couch potatoes too ☺️

Pet Sitting at The Nut House

Pet care experience

My sidekick, Peanut, and I have been pet sitting for friends and family for years and now are ready to welcome more dog guests to the Nut 🥜 House. Peanut is a 9 yr old Chihuahua who came to me as a foster via Small Breed Rescue of East Tennessee. He decided to stay with me rather than get adopted into a new family. Now that he is older he prefers napping over playing but likes greeting new dog friends that respect him when he is feeling grumpy. He may still remember his puppy days and engage in play with his dog friends. With 24 years of experience in the dog industry I am comfortable with a variety of dog and cat personalities. I've worked/volunteered at animal shelters, was a professional pet groomer, and have fostered 70 (and counting) dogs for SBRET. When your pups stay at the Nut House they are part of the family. I live near the Maryville Greenway and enjoy taking them on walks (weather permitting) and will even go hiking with them if they are up for it. I also have a large fenced in yard for hanging out and playing fetch.

Elizabeth was the most lovely dog-sitter for our 2 English Springer Spaniels!! It felt like we were leaving them with a family friend. She let us do a meet and greet to answer any questions beforehand, and she was attentive to their unique needs all throughout their stay. Drop off/pick up was easy, and bonus - her home is v close to the airport. Our dogs are our babies, so it feels so good to know they were safe and happy at Camp Elizabeth! They especially loved their walks with her along the greenway. Elizabeth is a true dog lover - her thoughtful care of our babies gave us peace of mind. Her partner also enjoyed lots of love from our silly noodle pups. Excited to book another stay with her for our next trip!

Elizabeth is amazing! She cares for our dog as her own. Our sweet Zoe loves her visits and we never worry when she’s with Elizabeth. We have used her for over a year. We are extremely pleased and highly recommend Elizabeth.

Wonderful! Very friendly, competent, caring, communicative. Nice fenced in play area with her other small dog. Sent me pictures. Would definitely use again.

I appreciated the photos and videos of our girls while we were away. It comforted me to know they were having a great time playing with their new friends!
