Flexible Hours: Day or night, I’ve got you covered! I prefer to work while the temperature is less than 70°F. Summer is more difficult to make appointments, but I’m very flexible all day/everyday otherwise.

I have a 4-year old Sheltie that would be with me for overnight assignments, but otherwise you can opt to not have her along while I care for your fur baby. I am very familiar with both dog parks in town, or I can walk around your neighborhood - wherever you like.

Information Elizabeth W. would like to know about your pet
1. I need to know if your pet is okay with other dogs. I prefer to encourage socialization, but accommodations otherwise is completely acceptable. I have a 5 year-old Shetland Sheepdog who is well-behaved and trained who likes to join when possible. 2. I have experience with pet medications, including injectables, but would need to know in advance if medication administration is requested. 3. Dogs with a history of aggressive behavior will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. 4. I am able to handle dogs of all sorts, and I employ a positive training/reward model. Dogs who only respond to negative feedback for behavior modification will require advanced approval.
A typical day
My favorite thing to do is to go to the park or go to dog-friendly public places. I prefer to encourage socialization with other dogs, but can also respect the needs of some dogs who need to be separated from others. Indoor playtime in my basement (or wherever is otherwise requested) is possible and welcomed during bad weather. I also like to play outside in the snow, but can accommodate dogs who don’t do well in the cold.

Pet care experience
Are you looking for a caring and reliable person to look after your dog? I’m here to help! I absolutely love dogs and would treat your furry friend like my own. I prefer working when the weather gets cold, so you can stay warm while your pup gets his or her daily outing 🙃
Reviews

Elizabeth did a fantastic job with Calvin, our soon to be 17 year old cat. She followed all instructions to the letter and kept Cal very happy, which when are away is not an easy job. He is a wonderful cat and we could tell from the pictures Elizabeth sent us during her visits that he was happy with her and comfortable! Thank you so much Elizabeth!
Elizabeth is very dependable and responsible when it comes to care of pets. She truly cares about the furry babies she cares for. She has experience in training dogs and enjoys interacting with them. She is not hesitant in performing the not-so-pleasant tasks that are part of pet care. She has had both cats and dogs and gets along with all. She has been caring for my 2 dogs since they were puppies and they are always excited to see her. She takes time to respond to each one’s individual personalities.
