I love dogs, they make everything better. And lucky me, I’m retired so I have a lot of time for them. I have one dog now, Lula, who is 15 years old and weighs twenty pounds. She loves to go for walks and pretends she is a ferocious beast when playing with her toys. I’ve been around dogs and other animals my whole life and have never had a bad day spent with a dog. Because I’ve shared my life with so many dogs and animals, I’m also experienced with senior dogs, special diets and administering medicine. When family and friends come over, they bring their dogs because they are all part of the family and if they need a sitter, they need only ask and I’ll happily do so. My son and his wife even pay for me to fly to Seattle to care for their dogs when they go on vacation rather than saving money and paying for care there.

Elizabeth has watched my girl, Sassy, several times now and she just absolutely loves going over there and Elizabeth absolutely loves her too. I feel better when I know she's going with somebody that cares about her and that Sassy will be very happy.
Dash had a wonderful time staying with Liz while we were out of town. It was our first trip away since adopting our boy, and Liz really eased our hearts and minds so we could enjoy our vacation. She was very responsive and sent multiple updates with pictures & videos! She also went above and beyond with our pick up time. Our flight was delayed and she was super flexible!
Elizabeth has watched Sassy multiple times for me. I took Sassy over for this last visit and Sassy was whining at the door to go inside! She loves going over there! I always get cute photos or videos & Elizabeth is so nice and flexible when my flight home got delayed. Thank you again!

As always, Liz was fantastic. Leaving my little guy behind when I go out of town is never easy, but Liz gives me peace of mind.

Schedule
Because I am retired, I have the luxury of creating my own schedule and do so often taking care of other dogs in the family and for friends.

I have a fenced yard, steps for the bed and pet doors. I built ramps for the patio door as my dog is now too old to leap through it, she was so happy!
A typical day
Lula and the other dogs I care for go on long walks sometimes three or four times a day. She, and the others enjoy finding new places to explore, playing in the yard, getting treats and hugs, lots of attention and going for rides in the car.
