Loving home away from home!
I have taken care of cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds and bunnies for friends, family and neighbors for over 30 years. My family and I love pets. I understand that they each pet communicates in a different way and will miss you very much. I welcome special instructions if required. Please bring their favorite toys, beds etc. Water bowls and litterboxes are cleaned daily. I can send daily photos and updates to keep in touch. Accepting pets only from one household at a time to make sure they are comfortable and happy while you are away. I have experience with senior cats and dogs who may have special needs, diets, exercise routines and medication. There is a set of steps up to the apartment which may be difficult for dogs with spinal surgeries. I look forward to meeting your cat or dog! Elizabeth was really accommodating with our puppy Milo. She took him out often as he was still potty training and sent pictures daily. I would recommend her service and would go back again in the future.
This is the longest we have spent away from our 2 cats. Elizabeth was great and showed up each day as arranged and spent time with them, making sure they were well taken care of and always sending lots of photos!

Schedule
I am currently studying and have plenty of time in the mornings, evenings and weekends to give loving attention to your cat or dog. I love walking when dogs are staying and love hanging out with cats and giving them loving cuddles if they like that.

I have an apartment with a nice balcony window. There are several green areas and parks in the vicinity. I keep cats safely indoors. I change and clean the water bowls daily. I only accept pets from one household at a time. There will be no other pets in my home during your pet's stay.
A typical day
I love going out for walks. We can explore the park in our neighborhood and take time to sniff along the way. With younger dogs I will take the time to play and exercise. With senior dogs I will keep the activities based on their pace and comfort level.
