Safety, trust & environment

Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or yours. At my home, I ensure a pet-friendly environment with secure, pet-proofed areas for play and rest. I keep all harmful substances out of reach, and my space is designed to be cozy and calming for all pets. I take the time to understand each pet’s individual needs, including their preferences and any special requirements. When caring for pets in their own homes, I maintain their routine as closely as possible, ensuring a familiar and stress-free environment. I communicate regularly with pet parents, providing updates and reassurance. Whether in my home or yours, I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved every moment of their stay.

Information Elizabeth T. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for your pet, I like to know as much as possible so I can provide the best care tailored to their needs. It’s helpful to know their daily routine, any medical conditions, medications, allergies, fears, or triggers. I also like to understand their energy level, social behavior (with people and other pets), and how they communicate their needs. If they have any quirks; like being picky eaters, leash pullers, or needing a specific bedtime routine. I want to hear it! The more I know ahead of time, the more I can make your pet feel safe, happy, and right at home.

A typical day

A typical day with me is filled with fun, structure, and plenty of attention. In the morning, I start with a walk or play session to get the pets moving, followed by breakfast and any necessary medications. For active pets, I like to get their energy out with fetch, tug-of-war, or running around the yard. For more relaxed pets, I’ll offer cuddle time or a cozy spot to nap while I keep them company. Throughout the day, we can explore new toys, practice tricks, or even have some enrichment time with puzzle games to stimulate their minds. If the weather’s nice, outdoor playtime is a must, whether it’s a long walk, a game of chase, or just some time to enjoy nature. I make sure to stick to their usual routine meal times, potty breaks, and downtime so they feel comfortable and secure. Every pet gets the right balance of fun and rest to ensure they’re happy and relaxed.

Cat care experience

What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals of all kinds and my commitment to creating a safe, calm, and fun environment for them. I have experience caring for kittens/cats with lots of energy, as well as senior pets who need a gentler, slower approach. Whether your pet needs belly rubs, medication, or a little extra patience, I’m there with love and attention. I treat every pet like family, and I make sure their routine, comfort, and happiness always come first.

Our arrangement with Elizabeth started off well but while good with Biscuit, we had issues with last second cancellations. This past week, she cancelled the morning of because she left the key in someone else’s car and then the following walk (2 days later) she did not show or reach out to say that she couldn’t walk Biscuit. This was 2 days within a week that Biscuit was left in the crate for over 8 hours since we couldn’t leave work to let her out. Before this, we had a few morning of cancellations as well (total of about 4-5 in a 2-3 month span) so I would make sure to be aware of this before booking. We tried to be understanding but this past week was the final straw. I hope this can be a learning lesson for Elizabeth because she is very nice and has potential but this was unacceptable.

Although Benny had an accident inside Elizabeth’s home, she was understanding and took it it has him marking his territory. She did set absorbent pads just in case, sent me fotos with updates, and she was kind enough to let me extend my time away since I wasn’t able to arrive at the time I agreed to pick him up.
