Information Elizabeth T. would like to know about your pet
- Dogs of all ages and sizes welcome (med & large breeds must be well behaved, walk well on leash or harness or other device and be able to interact appropriately with other dogs of all sizes). Some breed restrictions do apply please see the top of my profile for these breeds. A Meet & Greet or trial visit may be required for certain breeds. - All boarding guests must be crate trained or crate tolerant, I may accept on a case by case basis older dogs whom do not usually get crated but can tolerate crating if needed, these cases would be low energy dogs who have no issues with anxiety or exhibit destructive behavior and can be safely left alone for up to 2hrs. I do not accept dogs who cannot be left alone at all as while I am home majority of the time I may have to drop off and pick up my 2 teenagers up from school and may have to run brief errands occasionally. - When booking please be aware that proof of vaccinations are required, all dogs must be vaccinated for rabies, distemper, parvovirus bordetella and be free from parasites. Canine influenza is highly recommended but not required. I will make exceptions for dogs that are of advanced age or have medical conditions that would prevent them from receiving vaccinations. I would require proof of inability to vaccinate or titer test and that your dog does not have any problems that would compromise the thier health or the health of others. Please be aware that after your dog receives certain vaccinations that there is a waiting period in which is needed for the vaccination to be fully effective so please consult with your Vet on these waiting periods with each specific vaccination as it may affect your dogs ability to board. I do have a thorough cleaning and sanitation routine in place but realistically please keep in mind that even though preventative measures are taken to keep dogs healthy there is always the possibilitly for germs to be spread between contact with other dogs and from surfaces outside and in, just like when our children go to school, daycare, birthday parties, etc there is always a risk of germs and illness and same goes for dogs and just like there are multiple strains of viruses in humans there are multiple strains of canine viruses. If you're dog is showing signs of illness prior to boarding please use your best judgement and let me know so we can decide whether or not boarding with other dogs would be safe. If you're dog displays any concerning health issues or signs of illness during their stay you will be notified immediately so we can decide the best course of action, I have an optional vet care authorization form that will be sent to all new clients that is valid for one year, existing clients whom have vet care auth on file can update this form as needed. If your dog has any known allergies, health issues or physical limitations please let me know prior to receiving services. I am able to accomodate guests who require medications, have special health needs and or physical limitations and most post op guests (ex. post spay/neuter). I also require that guests dogs be free of fleas and be on current flea and tick prevenative, I personally do not recommend a flea/tick collar be used while boarding as your dog will be interacting with other dogs but should you choose to use one please be aware that that you are using this form of prevention at your own risk as there is the possibility for loss or damage during interactions with other dogs. I also highly recommend heartworm prevention for boarding guests especially during the summer months as we do live close to Marley creek which equals mosquitos and while the yard is treated and it helps to an extent mosquitoes are an inevitable nuisance. - A Pet Questionnaire will be sent to all Clients prior receiving services. The Pet Questionaire helps me get to know your pet better and about their daily routine so I can provide them with the best care possible. I also have a Vet Care Authorization form that is completely optional but available to you for added peace of mind. I do recommend having one on file for senior dogs, dogs with known health issues, longer stays or in case you or your emergency contact may be unreachable. - For the safety of my family, pets and other guests that may be in my care I can not keep any dogs that are known to be aggressive in my home, if your dog shows any aggressive behavior at drop off or during their stay that can not be controlled or corrected services will be subject to termination and your dog will be required to be picked up or alternate care arrangements be made. - I have a 7 day cancelation policy. A full refund will be issued if a booking is canceled before 12pm 7 days prior to when service is set to begin, cancelations made after 12pm and with less than 7days notice will receive a 50% refund for up to 7days of the originally scheduled service and any days remaining will be refunded 100%.
A typical day
-I do my absolute best to make sure each dog visiting in my home has a fun, relaxing and stress free stay. I like to consider this a vacation for them and strive to make them feel like they are at their second home. I make sure that each guest gets all the attention they desire during their visit. I can cater to playful active dogs or dogs who just like to relax and snuggle on the couch. If your dog is more laid back and likes to just sleep the day away I can make sure they have a cozy quiet area where they won't be disturbed. Our large yard allows for off leash play sessions of multiple dogs or private one on one time. New guests may be initially taken out on leash or placed on a tie out as to observe their behavior within the fenced in portion of the yard as safety is my priority and I want to make sure new dogs are not interested in making any attempts to go over or dig under the fence where dig guards may not be installed. -With Owner permission I sometimes take compatible dogs to local parks for an outdoor adventures during the spring through fall. Should I plan on taking guests on a outing Owners will be notified. -If your furry friend has a special activity such as playing catch or tug of war please let me know so I can include their favorite activities into our day, we have lots of toys for guests to play with and you may send toys your dog enjoys at your own discretion (please be aware stuffed toys may not always make it home in one piece and sometimes dogs do end up carrying their belongings outside or to other areas in my home and other dogs may manage to get ahold of toys so only send if you are willing to replace if damaged or lost). Though I do have dog beds and I allow guest pups on couches you are more than welcome to send your pups bed or blanket, please be aware that when sending beds and toys these items may be shared by other dogs (I can wash removable bed covers and blankets and stuffed toys if needed prior to pick up). Should your dog be possessive of certain items please let me know so they can be given these items while no other dogs are around. -For guests whom are actively receiving obedience training or puppies just learning the basics I will help continue any training or routine that your dog is going through. Since I have previous experience in training and showing dogs I am happy share training tips and techniques with clients, I also like to incorporate training while I am playing with the dogs to help keep their minds active and engaged, I find that dogs who are learning new skills tend to watch their more advanced friends and will start pick up on commands more easily. I do accept dog's who are currently being trained with the use of an e-collar and or choke/prong collar and can use these training tools while in my care if provided by you. I do remove these types of collars when being crated or at bedtime for their safety. -Bathroom breaks occur every 2 hours or as needed, I can also provide late night, middle of the night and early morning breaks if necessary. -I do my absolute best to keep any pup that is in my care on the same schedule they would follow in their own home this would include meal times, bathroom breaks, bed time and times of medication administration. -Please be aware that I do host multiple dogs from different families so there may be other guest dogs in my home aside from my own dog for boarding during your dog's stay. I also accept small to large size dogs and dogs of all ages and will allow them to interact together so long as I feel everyone can safely and comfortably be together. I will separate dogs into more appropriate groups if needed. Since there may be multiple dogs in my home at any time I usually only accept one new dog into the group or multiple from the same family on the first day of the new dogs boarding with all other dogs in my care being existing clients and will only accept other dogs that are new to me and my home after the first new dog has had a day or two to settle in, this helps me focus on getting to know the new dog/s and helping them settle in and get acclimated to my family, home and our routine. All dogs will be safely introduced one at a time after settling in after arrival to ensure they are comfortable and compatible with each other. Should you wish that your dog be kept separated from other dogs due to physical limitations medical issues or age please let me know and as I can accommodate this but have limited spaces available for such, requests for any dog that needs to be kept separated services will be charged at puppy rate regardless of age. Please use your best judgment when seeking services for senior dogs, dogs with physical limitations or medical needs as there may other services that would be better suited for them such as House Sitting, Drop In Visits, Boarding with a Sitter who only accepts one client at a time or Boarding with a Veterinarian. If any dog starts to exhibit behaviors that would prevent them from safely interacting with other dogs during their stay your rate may be subject to change or boarding service may be terminated. If a dog starts to show behaviors that put their own safety or the safety of other dogs, myself or my family members at risk or exhibits behaviors that cause a major disturbance to other guests or my family and cannot be remedied this may be cause for termination of the stay. The safety, comfort and well being of all dogs and humans is of extreme importance. Should a stay be terminated due to behavioral and or safety concerns a 50% refund will be issued for any remaining scheduled days up to 7days. All dogs will be properly introduced and monitored at all times while interacting but please be aware that dogs play using their mouths, teeth, paws/claws and they also use their mouths, noses and paws to investigate, I take every precaution to ensure the safety and well being of all dogs in my care but unexpected minor injuries may still occur during play. I Do Not accept dogs who are dog aggressive or have a bite history. Any dog that shows signs of aggressive behavior or plays too rough will be separated from other dogs and or incompatible dogs. To assist in the prevention of accidental scratches to other dogs, myself and family members I do ask Owners that if possible to make sure your dogs nails are at reasonable length or are cut prior to their visit. I do offer nail trims as a additional service for a fee but can not guarantee a dogs cooperation during the process and will only provide this service if it can be safely completed and does not cause stress to the animal. -Thank you so much for taking the time to read my profile, I look forward to hearing from you and am happy to answer any questions you may have.

My family and I are happy to have your pup/s visit and enjoy running and playing in our spacious fenced in yard. We have a double gate setup to ensure safety with a 6ft privacy fence in the backyard and 4ft fence in the front. Hello my name is Elizabeth, thank you for visiting my profile and considering me for your Pet Sitting needs! Please take a few minutes to read my profile in it's entirety as I try to cover as much as possible about myself and what to expect while your pet/s board with me. Please don't hesitate to message with any questions or concerns you may have. *Hours for drop offs and pick ups are listed at the top of my profile. If your plans change and pick up can not be done by 8pm an extra night will be added and pick up will occur the next day, extended care fees may apply if drop off and pick up times are adjusted after initial booking request. I am not currently offering Daycare services and am only offering trial visits in preparation for longer stays and for dogs that have never boarded before please read further for trial visit options and rates. *At this time I am not accepting unaltered males unless they are a puppy under 6mos old. I'm no longer accepting new clients with the following breeds: Huskies, Malamutes, Shar Peis, Akitas, Dogo Argentinos, Presa Canaros, Boerboels, Dalmatians, Vizlas, German Shorthaired Pointers. Please be aware that if your dog starts to consistently mark while inside a belly band/diaper must be worn. I do have some sizes of belly bands/diapers on hand but you may purchase your own and provide or have sent. Any reusable wraps sent or purchased by you will be washed and returned. For unspayed females please be aware that I do occasionally have unaltered male guests under the age of 6mos so please let me know if there is a possibility of the a heat cycle occurring while in my care so appropriate measures can be taken as even though I do not accept females who are actively in a heat cycle sometimes we cannot accurately predict when one will occur especially a first heat cycle. I do monitor unspayed females for any signs of a heat cycle and safety measures will be taken if I suspect the start of one. * All drop offs and pick ups are done strictly by appointment, please treat drop off and pick up as you would any other appointment. I require that all bookings have drop off and pick up times narrowed down to at least a 2hr timeframe if a specific time is not listed. Requests with drop off and pick up times greater than a 2hr timeframe will not be accepted. I require that all clients send a message at least 15min prior to planned arrival for both drop off and pick up so that I can secure current guests and get your dog/s packed up and ready. Should times for drop off and pick up be unknown at the time of initial request please put in a guesstimated 2hr timeframe, you can let me know anytime prior to the day of drop off if changes need to be made, extended care fees may apply to changes in times. I cannot always guarantee desired times will be available but do try to be as flexible and as accommodating as possible and will do my best to schedule you as close to your desired time. Boarding rates are based on a rolling 24hr period. Should times need to be changed please let me know as soon as possible so any needed adjustments can be made and please be aware that changes in times may affect rates. I strive to give each client and guest/s my full attention during arrival and departure so I ask that you please arrive on time, if you do not arrive within at least 30min of agreed upon time or timeframe you may be rescheduled to arrive at more appropriate time. If you arrive more than 30min outside of scheduled time an extended care fee may apply, also if you arrive more than 30min late without prior discussion a fee of $10 per will apply for up to each additional 30min. I strive for safe and stress free arrivals and departures of boarding guests and in addition to a 15min advance arrival message I ask that all clients text/call upon arrival and wait patiently for me to come outside, I ask that you either wait by your car or you may enter the first gate and wait in the front yard, please ensure the front gate is closed after entering and exiting the yard, please refrain from knocking on the door as it triggers the dogs and the majority of the time at least one of the dogs has already alerted us that someone is outside. Do not open or enter the second gate (taller privacy fenced portion of yard) as there may be dogs in the backyard and I will need to make sure they are taken inside and secured prior to opening any gates/doors. We also have cameras that will notify us of your arrival. These measures have been put in place for the safety of not only the dogs in my care but yours as well. All boarding guests must be dropped off and picked up by the client, if anyone other than yourself will be dropping off or picking up please let me know so that I can provide my personal # as anyone not associated with your account will not be able to reach me through my Rover # (Rover #'s are privatized for communications between client & Sitter). At this time I am not offering pick up/drop off service. *All guest dogs are required to be properly leashed at drop off, please have your dog leashed prior to exiting your vehicle. Not only is it the law for dogs to be leashed but it's for the safety of your dog, other dogs, people who may be nearby and myself. Leashes may be removed once your dog is in my yard and gates are closed. Please ensure that your dog/s wear a properly fitted collar (you should be able to fit two fingers between the collar and your dogs neck snug but comfortably), a properly fitted collar should not be able to easily come over the dog's head. If your dog wears a harness and if for any reason there is any possibility that they would be able to get out of their harness I recommend using a secondary leash to attach to their collar or a slip lead, I have slip leads on hand will bring one out if needed. - I am home full time as to allow around the clock care to my guests. I have have been doing boarding steadily for the past 7 1/2yrs and have 28 plus years experience working with dogs. My family consists of myself, my husband, my 2 children ages 16 & 17 and my dog Lola (6yr old Pug). Rover doesn't have a option for Sitters with children over 12 so my profile shows as no children and there are never any small children in my home so you will never have to worry about interactions between your dog with small children or babies, both of my teenagers are experienced in handling dogs of all ages, sizes and energy levels and very knowledgeable of dog behavior. My experience with dogs comes from raising and training AKC showdogs (English Bulldogs & Dobermans) with my family as well as teaching basic training in one on one and group settings for many different breeds and ages. I also have experience in agility training and conformation. I am extremely knowledgeable of and experienced with brachycephalic breeds and I have personally owned other various breeds over the years. I have owned the following breeds: Pugs, Boston Terriers, Chinese Cresteds, English Bulldogs, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, Cocker Spaniels, Great Danes, Golden Retrievers, Chows, German Shepherds, Labrador Retrievers and Pit Bull Terriers. I have gained an extensive knowledge of many different breeds through showing, training and providing pet care services over the years but if there is any breed that I have little/no personal experience with that will be caring for I always research that specific breed prior to providing services and will send a pet questionnaire to help me get to know about your dog's personality, routine and care requirements. I like to learn as much as I can about specific breeds and each dog as an individual so I can provide the best care and boarding experience. - I am experienced with and able to adminsiter oral, optic, otic and injectable medication and am trained in pet first aid and CPR. I also have experience caring for special needs animals both physical and medical. Please be aware that some special needs/medical cases may be charged at puppy rate depending on the extent of care needed. I have also owned and have experience with cats, reptiles, birds, fish, various small mammals, horses and even arachnids and other various insects. I love all animals from big to small and really can't imagine not having them in my life. Before becoming a full time Pet Sitter I worked in Nursing for 15years, I made the decision to leave nursing in order focus on and spend more time with my family, leaving the medical field also allowed me to return to doing what I am most passionate about and that's working with and caring for animals. - Please know that when booking with me I donate a portion of my income from providing Pet Care services to the following organizations monthly: *S.N.O.R.T/Short Noses Only Rescue *The Pug Queen Foundation *The American Pitbull Foundation (In honor of my dog Bentley who passed away in October of 2020 and whom we never would have had the pleasure of having become a part of our family had it not been for offering pet care services). *AAHA-Rescue/Adopt A Homeless Animal Rescue/MD Friends Of Animals. * Saving Grace Animal Rescue of Maryland -When your furry family member visits in my home you can rest assured knowing they will be receiving quality around the clock care and plenty of love and attention. I do my best to make each dogs time away from their family as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. - While I do require guests to be crate trained and guests usually sleep in their crates at night I do allow guests on couches and will let dogs sleep wherever they are most comfortable so long as they are well behaved and do not cause a disturbance to other boarding guests. All guest dogs must be able to tolerate at least 2hrs of crating during daytime hours in the event that should have to step out. I have extra dog beds that guests are welcome to lounge and sleep on but you're more than welcome to send your dogs bed if you like. (Please let me know if your dog is not allowed on furniture at home so I can follow the same rules here as you do in your home, I don't want your dog returning with any unwanted behaviors). Guests will have free roam in the house during their visit, for the safety of all guest dogs they will not have access to the kitchen or any trash cans to ensure that they cannot consume anything other than their own food. All guests are fed separately from one another to ensure that they don't eat any other food. I have crates available in various sizes for nightly use or should I need to run a brief errand so you do not have send one unless your dog is used to using a cloth or hard plastic crate, sometimes dogs will become stressed or uncomfortable when changing to a wire crate and each dog knows that their crate is their personal space while visiting. I thoroughly sanitize crates between use of different dogs and I vacuum in and around crates and wipe down bottom trays daily. - My family and I will do our absolute best in making sure each guest feels welcomed and at home and we want each guest to feel like they are on their own little vacation while they are here. - I will make sure that each dog has a quiet comfortable sleeping area during both the day and night. Should your dog like to nap during the day I will make sure that they are not disturbed by any other dog who is active while they are resting. I can provide a safe quiet area for senior dogs or for dogs that may feel nervous and need some extra time in a calmer space til they adjust or if they just prefer the company of humans over other dogs. - All dogs will be separated at mealtimes so that they can eat without disruption and so that dogs don't feel the need to guard resources and also to avoid the chance of anyone getting an upset stomach from eating anyone else's food. Access to fresh water is provided around the clock, I have multiple water bowls both inside and outside and each dog will have their own water bowl attached to their crate (Please let me know if your dog is on any type of fluid restriction or if they have a recommended cut off time so appropriate measures can be taken). For dogs that free feed they will be offered food multiple times throughout the day but I am unable to leave food out when I have other dogs boarding at the same time. I also have no problem accommodating guests who are on raw diets, have food that requires refrigeration or require extra supplements be added to food or given at certain times. I have plenty of extra bowls that get washed after every meal so I ask that you do not send bowls unless a slow feeder, raised bowl or plate is used. - In addition to having experience with dogs who have special physical or medical needs I also have experience working with dogs that have separation anxiety, other fears or need extra assistance and time being introduced into a new environment or with other dogs. If you dog has issues with separation anxiety please let me know the extent of their anxiety and what behaviors they exhibit so we can decide if this would be a good fit for them. - I will maintain contact throughout your pet's stay providing updates and pictures so that you will know how your pet is doing and that they are enjoying themselves. I send updates/pics in the evening once guests are settled down for the night and all of their needs have been met. Updates/pics are usually sent between 8pm-10pm. While I try my best to send updates/pics on a regular basis please be aware that they may be limited to every other day as some days are busier than others and making sure my guests needs are met and that everyone is safe and comfortable is my main priority. While everyone loves photos of their pet and I try to send a good amount please note that photos are sent as a courtesy and I can not always guarantee them. Not every dog is a fan of the camera and some would much rather be off playing than pause for a photo opp (while I do try I admit action shots aren't my specialty) or snoozing the majority of their visit, I pride myself on taking nice photos where your pup is clearly distinguishable and pics that are worthy of showing off to your family and friends. Sometimes boarding can be a big adjustment for certain dogs they may need extra time and special care to make being away from their family more comfortable and in these cases my main focus is the dog's well being, gaining trust and making them feel as comfortable as I possibly can while they are away from their own home and family. Taking pics of dogs who are already shy, nervous or need time and space to settle in can potentially make them feel even more uneasy and that's not what I want. - My Husband and two children enjoy showering our guests with tons of attention and assisting me in their care. My dog Lola loves making new friends and does well with dogs of all ages and sizes. Lola (Pug) gets along with all dogs but she has gotten to be a bit lazy as she's gotten older so she does tend to snooze most of the day. She does get bursts of energy here and there and she loves being with bigger dogs so don't let her small size worry you if you have a larger dog, she knows how to handle herself when interacting with dogs bigger than her and she will walk away if she no longer feels like engaging, she grew up with our pit bull who passed in October 2020 and he was her best friend so she really enjoys having bigger dogs around. Lola enjoys hanging out with smaller dogs too and she doesn't mind sharing her humans with her canine friends. - When your dog arrives I will do a safe and proper introduction with them and any other dog here after I have let your dog get comfortable with me, my family members and acclimated to my home. I know how stressful and scary it can be for some dogs to be placed into a different environment with people and dogs they don't know so I aim to make things go as smoothly as possible. I spend a great bit of time doing introductions and only begin introductions when I feel a new guest is ready. All dogs will be introduced one at a time with first introduction occurring through a barrier, once both dogs are used to each other and getting along then I will let them get better acquainted in the same space. -For the safety and well being of all guest dogs, their owners, myself and family members all exchanges for drop off and pick ups will occur outside. Arrivals and departures can sometimes be a stressful time for dogs or can cause them to become overstimulated and to minimize these issues and ensure that all dogs are kept safe, comfortable and cause as little disruption as possible exchanges will occur outside no exceptions. Meeting outside also allows me to give each owner my full attention to go over anything before a stay or discuss a stay after it has ended without interruption or distractions. The areas of my home where guest dogs stay are available to view in my photo section, some pics in my profile are of our previous location. I always spend a few minutes outside before entering the house with arriving guests to give them a chance to use the bathroom and take in the scents of other dogs, this also gives me chance to get to know them, gain their trust and bond with them. - In addition to or in place of Meet & Greets I do offer trial visit so your dog and I can acclimated to one another, trial visits can be set up anywhere from 2-8 hours or overnight (trial visit pricing is for new clients only, prices are listed in the next section). I find that a trial visit can sometimes be a much better opportunity to find out if a dog is a good fit in my home and that I would be a good fit for them since dogs sometimes act differently with and without their owner. I also have a pet profile questionnaire that I send out in order to gain as much information as possible about each guest to ensure they receive care tailored to them and their specific needs. At drop off for your dog's trial visit we can meet prior to discuss any care requirements and I can address any questions or concerns you may have. There will be no indoor tours and the main areas of my home where guest dogs spend their day are available to view in the picture section of my profile (this measure is for you and your dog/s safety and the safety and well being of dogs currently in my care). I will bring my my personal dog outside at my discretion depending how comfortable the visiting dog is at drop off. Please keep in mind that your dog will be visiting a new environment with lots of different scents and sounds and this may cause some dogs to become anxious, overstimulated or protective of their owners. I require that all visiting dogs arrive properly leashed since again this is a new environment and even the most well trained dog could run off if they become nervous or scared. - Trial visits are offered for new clients who would like to see how their pet will do in my home and allow them to get comfortable with myself, my family members, my dogs and being with other guest dogs prior to boarding. In some cases a trial visit may be a better option over having a short meet & greet as it gives your dog a greater chance to prepare themselves and know what to expect for a longer visit. Rates for trial visits are as follows: 2hr visit $15 (2hr visits are more geared towards dogs who have never boarded before, haven't had much experience with other dogs and for dogs who have anxiety issues and may require more than one trial visit. The focus of multiple 2hr visits is to allow the dog to get used to a new environment, people and dogs over time) 4hr visit $20 6hr visit $25 8hr visit $30 These prices are for dogs over 1yr old, for dogs under 1yr there will be an additional $5 puppy fee (Trial visits and pricing is for new clients only and are not a substitute for daycare). -I am able to keep dogs separated while visiting my home if absolutely needed. For example a senior dog who prefers to snooze the day away and may not care to be around younger and more playful dogs, a dog that likes to stick to themselves and prefers human company over the company of other dogs, a dog who can only tolerate short periods of time with other dogs, a dog who needs extra time or a quiet area to settle in. If any dog needs to be separated they will be given the same amount of care and attention that dogs that are able to interact together do, it's my goal that every dog has a enjoyable experience while visiting. I do not host aggressive dogs and my ability to keep dogs separated is not an exception for this sort of behavior. -Drop Offs and Pick Ups times are listed at the top of my profile and these times may be subject to change. Please be aware that there may be brief periods of time during my normal hours that I am unavailable I do my best to list specific times that I knowingly will be unavailable at the top of my profile. I always do my best to accommodate times requested for drop offs and pick ups and I do ask that you please treat drop off and pick up times just like an other appointment as I may have other guests arriving and leaving the same day and want to give each client and guest my full attention during arrival and departure, arriving at agreed upon times also helps to ensure I can plan bathroom breaks, mealtimes and play sessions for the dogs in my care. - I do offer bathing and basic grooming for guests, please see service section for pricing. Baths will be given to stays lasting longer than one week as a courtesy (some size restrictions apply as I am not set up to bathe certain L/XL breeds). Grooming entails brushing only at this time. I also offer nail trims starting at $20, I use a dremel nail grinder or nail clippers and am experienced with both clear & dark nails. I will only trim nails for dogs who I can safely work with and are comfortable with it being done. - In the event you would like to extend any original Boarding requests that are currently in progress I am happy to accommodate an extension so long as I have space and availability, please be aware that I may not always be able accommodate an extension and you should have a back up plan in place just in case. Once a extension or change is made and agreed upon please be prepared to immediately confirm the change to your booking and pay any additional fees associated with the extension. -If for any reason you should you wish to pick up your pet up earlier than the originally scheduled departure date please be aware that you must request a cancelation through the app and a 50% cancelation fee for any remaining time will apply (up to 7days). I am home full-time so your dog will receive constant care and attention. In the event I would have to go out to run errands I do keep the time I'm gone limited to between 30min-2hrs and even in my absence the majority of the time my Husband would be home so that your pet is not left alone. I can also accommodate dogs who prefer mainly human interaction (must still be able to tolerate other dogs and not have any aggressive or reactive behaviors). Dogs will have free roam of main areas of my home and I do have gates that can be closed if needed. I do allow dogs to sleep where they are most comfortable and don't require night time crating so long as dogs are well behaved and do disrupt any other dog who is sleeping. I am home full time to care for pets and am actively engaged with them during their stay. All interactions between boarding guests and my own dog are always monitored. I do take multiple dogs from different families so your dog will have friends to keep them busy, I have quite a bit of boarding guests who stay with my family and I on a regular basis and they all do very well with new dogs and they are always happy to welcome new friends and are helpful in showing new dogs the ropes.
Reviews

This was the first time we left our Nico overnight, and Elizabeth was wonderful! She sent detailed updates with numerous pictures every night. We felt comfortable knowing that we were leaving him with someone who has worked with dogs for years, who gave him time to adjust to the new setting and the other dogs that were there, and who gave him extra love before bed because he needed some extra time to settle :) She was also incredibly responsive. Whether I needed to contact her or not, I trusted that she would get my messages and respond rather quickly. We were so happy with his stay, and we highly recommend!

I have done dog boarding with Elizabeth several times and she is always professional and takes good update photos of our dog. I recommend working with her every time you need dog boarding.

Second time I’ve booked! Dogs love it there, always come back happy

This was our first time boarding any pet and we were a bit hesitant to leave our dog with anyone. Even with a last minute booking request, Elizabeth promptly answered and accepted. I was pleasantly surprised as to how happy our pup was day after day, with the daily picture updates we received. Upon pickup, she seemed happy as well. I highly recommend Elizabeth and will definitely be using her again.
