Let me know how you take care of your pet and I will be happy to do the same! While new to Rover, watching, walking, training, and overall loving on dogs has always come easily to me. And as a dog owner myself, I know the importance of being confident that your dog (and home) is cared for in the way that they need when you're not around.

Information Elizabeth T. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I should be aware of. If your dog is reactive, no worries! Just let me know their triggers and we’ll make sure your pup is set up for success.

A typical day

Typical activities are mentally and physically stimulating. I’d be happy to continue any training you’ve started with your pup(s). Depending on the service, your pup can expect playtime, cuddles, lots of sniff breaks on our walks, and/or simply being present and making sure they have all they need.

Pet care experience

I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember! As a teen and young adult, I would often offer to walk roommates' or friends' dogs because I enjoyed spending time with them. I’ve helped people and dogs of all sizes and ages, from puppies to senior dogs that need a bit more TLC. I developed an interest in dog psychology to better understand how they communicate which evolved into helping train friend's dogs until I adopted my own Staffordshire Terrier in 2014. When I adopted him, he was very weary of people and had a hard time socializing with dogs. Fast forward to now (and lots of lots of research into dog psychology and training), he's in a place where he enjoys meeting new people and other dogs! I'd love the opportunity to work with you and your pup(s)!

One of the best Rover experiences I've ever had, it's so hard to find dog walkers/sitters nowadays. Elizabeth has now become my go-to person when it's time for date night, rushing to leave in the morning, if I'm working long hours, or if I just know I'll be out the house for a while and need someone I can trust to walk and check on my little fur baby. My older Golden Retriever, Junie, was immediately fond of her (that's always a good sign) and Elizabeth was so kind, attentive, and adapted to all the things Junie needs (like constant head scratches, her medication, and learning her commands/triggers for walks). On top of that, I received updates and photos which gave me a lot of peace of mind because I'm very attached to my dog lol and was nervous about leaving her with someone new. I would 100% recommend her to anyone who wants to be sure that your pet baby gets the attention and love they deserve with someone you can really trust.

I'm glad to recommend Elizabeth to be your dog's new best friend. She has a natural gift with animals and a genuine love for dogs that is immediately clear. She is caring, patient, responsible, and deeply attentive to their needs. Her dream of opening a pet shelter speaks to the level of compassion and commitment she brings to every animal in her care. Any dog would be lucky to spend time with her!
